There was a plumbing issue in the room and it was leaking on the floor below. Staff said we would be given our money back for the inconvenience. Then no money back was issued. Breakfast was good.

The hotel is under construction. I felt that that management could have went further to warn potential guest of this fact. The gym was closed due to construction, and the gym is one of the reasons I stay in Hampton inns. The only notification I received was a notebook size paper taped to the outside of the elevator!? Additionally, my TV in the room did not work. House keeping worked on it for over an hour while I waited. She had no idea what to do. I finally asked for a different room but by then it was late and I was of course very disappointed and frustrated. I have asked for a discount or a refund as I felt that I had not received what I had paid for and the refund was flatly denied. I travel through Edenton often, but I doubt that I will be staying at this property again.

The staff was great but they had no clue how to use the room TV a guide would be a great addition. Found I had no replacement towel paper in the middle of the night. The rooms are old but they try to keep them looking good but our bathroom had a lot of dark water stains in the shower and sink. I think if these things can be addressed it’s a good place to stay.

Absolutely fine

Very short overnight stay for us. We've always used this Hampton Inn as our default hotel in area. It is not intended to be a luxury experience, but it's absolutely all you need. Quiet, safe, comfortable. Good enough for me.
