Never good to open the door to a room and be blasted with stale cigarette smoke in a non-smoking room. Also met by torn carpet by the bathroom door, a crack in the ceiling, and a horrible job of pasting wallpaper over defective walls. No microwave, no fridge. This was a $65 room they were charging $130 for. Hampton should be embarrassed! We stayed in a Super 8 in Elko, NV for $65 that was much better appointed and in much better repair and at least it didn't stink of cigarette smoke. We were disappointed in our Hampton room in Billings, MT last week too. You don't get a 3rd strike Hampton... you're OUT!

I was traveling for business and can always rely on a Hampton! Nice touch upon checking in. They have a scrabble board at the desk and the person who has the hoghest word score at the end of the day wins a nice little bag of goodies. Nice touch. The staff was friendly and accommodating! Definitely will stay there again upon my return!

Hotel was clean. Nice pool area. Breakfast was very goodl

Supplied all the needs for a night away from home.

The room was small with a king size bed, but the bed was very comfortable and the room clean. The breakfast room was crowded and close quarters, but the food was good and the service friendly. The only complaint was the room heater at the window that kept clicking on and off during the night. Nothing major, will stay there again!

The hotel is close to Immanuel Lutheran College. We come once a year for the annual grade school basketball tournament. The hotel is clean, roomy, and comfortable. Everyone was friendly. There were many people in town and the breakfast room could be larger and they could have used another person taking care of the food. She was overworked, my opinion. She was gracious and very helpful.

Generally the Hampton is always a good stay, if pricey for what you get (over $100/night). Room was very clean; usually the staff are great but on this stay the breakfast server was very brusque, kept pushing past people to refill trays without saying excuse me, seemed to be having a really bad day! This is very unusual for this hotel.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn Eau CLaire for a wedding. Overall the room was decent and appeared to have been renovated. However, the air conditioner leaked water even after the repair guy "fixed" it. The ice machines didn't work either which isn't a huge deal but just annoying. The breakfast had plenty of options but the warm breakfast was not so great. The hotel is in a good location.

We went to Water street to enjoy great food. Good location and very easy to get to U of W Eau Claire.

Easy to check in and out. The room was very clean. I was happy with my stay and will stay there or another Hampton Inn again.

We went to Eau Claire to visit my daughter who is a freshman at the University. The hotel was comfortable, within walking distance and had very friendly staff. The breakfast was great. We will stay there everytime we go to visit.

We attended home coming

For the amount I paid, the room was rather small. Parking was also an issue in the hotel's lot. Would only recommend for a one-night stay or if nothing else is available.

Nice experience.

This hotel is located in a very quite area. Easy access to stores, restaurant and highway. The room is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast bar are excellent. But there are some suggestion need to be done too. For example the front desk person didn't have his name tag. I have to wait at least 20 minutes at the check-in desk before anyone notice i was there. Other than that everything was great. I dont mind going back.
