This place is nothing like the pictures. It is old, very dirty. The pool was a vat of green slim. The room had stains on the blankets and was filthy!
When we opened up the room door the first thing we noticed was paint peeling from the ceiling. Not a small speck but a 4"x 5" area that peeled and was hanging by one side. We decided to go to the pool for a little swim. When we walked up to the pool the water was green. Not a deep green but an algae bloom green. The woman at the desk informed us that the pool guy was adding chemicals and nobody was allowed in the pool. At this point we started looking for other hotels. We couldn't find any that had vacancies so we had to stay. We went out for dinner and came back to shower and go to bed. I went to give my 1 yr old son a bath there was hair on the shower walls and in the drain. So I had to wash it before I gave him a bath. The free breakfast was the only decent thing about our one night stay. There was a limited choice of food but it was decent. A hotel I won't be going back to again.
Arrived on the hot day, after a long day of traveling. Kids wanted to go to the pool, which was green...i was advised at the front desk that the pool was inspected the same day and the water was safe....not so sure about it. Will not stay there again.
Good value for price paid. This property was clean had a pool and was quiet. The staff are very nice and helpful. This site is fully accessible. Bathroom tiny and consists of a head and tub with shower. Sink is out side of bathroom entrance. Breakfast was basic but had a little something for everyone including gluten and lactose free options as well as vegetarian. The property is nor luxury by any stretch but offers a little more than you would expect for the price charged. Good value for the bargain traveler. This hotel was right off the highway and cline to shopping and groceries. Everything within a 5 to 10 minute drive.
There were not any outlet cover in the room! I did have a blocked commode and they came to fix it right away but they carried toilet water dripping tools through the room without anything underneath. The front desk lady was not very good.
This Days Inn Easton was not cleanly at all. This includes the rooms and grounds with overflowing garbage cans. There were bugs in the room and flies all over the place. I did not go in the pool because I heard another guest complaining about the pool's inproper maintenance for health reasons.
1. Breakfast is advertised as beginning at 6am. As of 6:15, the doors had not been unlocked - and there was no one around to speak to about it. 2. TV service was very poor. 3. THE BATHTUB HAD NO SAFETY BARS OR MATS! As an older person, I found this a dangerous place for me. 4. Also as an elder person, I do NOT have nor carry nor want a cell phone. I could not call home to let my family know the phone number of this location! 5. NO...I would NOT recommend this place to anyone...especially, the elder generation.
If it werent for the pool i wouldve asked for my $ back and even then i didnt go into the pool,so.
Lots of free parking. There are 2 floors and no elevator. If you have any special mobility conciderations request a room on the first floor which are accessible. There ard two sides to this property. One side facing out towards traffic or wooded area and the other facing the pool. Pool is large and wide. The property grounds are spotless. The bathroom is tiny with no mirrors or a sink. You have to use the sink in the kitchenette. There's a full size stove a fridge in the king room 117 however there are no pots pans nor cutlery. If you plan on using the kitchen bring everything with you as the cupboards are void of any tools including glasses to drink from. The room was clean and large but had a fly problem. I killed 8 flies before bed and I found 3 more flying around the next morning. The bed was very comfortable and a very quiet place even though there's a highway on both sides of the property. It's a bit out of the way. Restaurants are 15 to 20 minutes away in any direction. The breakfast included was basic but had something for everyone. This property does live up to its promise of great value.
We will never stay there again. Dirty, rooms are old and in poor condition. Bugs in the bathroom. And when they came into make the beds they moved the tip envelope in front of the t.v guess they wanted s tip every day. Front desk girl not friendly and when I checked out she gave me someone else's receipt.
