There wasn’t really no beach access. The water where we were. wasn’t the cleanest spot to swim and there was no tv but other then it was decent.

Cabin inside

Shower is small but nice. Would be nice if there was fans for bedrooms since there is no air conditioner. No place to put your clothes in bedrooms, very small inside for more than 2 people.

Stay in East Tawas

Good location - staff was friendly - bathrooms need to be updated. The showers are so small one cannot take a shower without half of your body hanging out and I am not a large person. Medium to large men will not fit in the shower. That was very frustrating. Floors/carpet need a deep cleaning. Staff were very nice though!

Elm cabin

Had a fantastic time here Beach was nice, location perfect--close enough to town but far enough to have some quiet and privacy. Only complaint was a loud guest in another cabin but not the fault of the renters. Definitely will be back.

Great!

Cabin was more than expected with great beach/water access. Only thing that could be added is a tv for at night when trying to relax and wind down for the day.

Small and Cozy

My wife and I needed a small getaway to do some scenic walking/hiking. The cabin had all the basic amenities that you would expect and was perfect for short periods of rest and for sleep. We went in the beginning of fall so we did not utilize the lake front with the exception of a fire and dipping our toes in to say we did!

Cozy and comfortable

We had a great time and it is a beautiful property and area. We liked how the fire pit was right on the beach for roasting marshmallows. The only downside was that other residents didn’t keep their dog on a leash, and subsequently ran up to our dog, which caused some chaos and also a hand injury to me when trying to control my dog. It would be good if the leash rule was more strictly enforced. Other than that, great experience.

Great experience overall! Location was awesome and perfect!! Some of the windows on the cottage could use a little love, but overall a really great experience, where my girls and I were able to make more beautiful memories!!

Great sandy beach

these are the rustic wood interior cabins, newly refitted with tile floors, kitchen updates. No AC, 1 box fan, no TV ( :-) Great location close to State Park & perfect shallow sand beaches for kids to play & swim in. mosquitos at night but not during day. our family really enjoyed our stay , will return
