The staff was very nice and accommodating and the breakfast was very nice with many options. The remodeling wasn’t the most pleasant with a strong paint smell and very basic rooms. However when we requested to be moved to another location that might not be freshly painted they did honor our request. In the past our stays there have been pleasant-will just wait to stay again until the renovation is completed as the price didn’t at all reflect that as I feel like it should have definitely been discounted some. Also nice to have an in room coffee maker which it did not.

Hotel was under construction. Was not advised of this. I found out when I walked into the lobby. This is unfair and dishonest!!! Lobby had paper and tape to cover floor under removal, etc.

Staff was very nice. Breakfast was good with a good selection. However, the building is under renovation and some cosmetic things remain in the rooms. We also miss having a coffee maker in the room and removal of the fitness room.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. First floor was fully under renovation and the entire second floor reeked of strong paint fumes and no ventilation. Everything was taped off and should have been shut down. Was told there was nothing they could do but put a fan on the second floor but it would not help because there was no place for the fumes to go. Argued with management and was first offered 5,000 points. Then 10,000 points. Told them that wasn’t good enough for a nights stay. I was there 3 nights. Finally they did credit me 1 nights stay. DO NOT STAY HERE. Wait until the new one opens. This place is so run down and unkept. Stay away if you can.

Our stay at the Hampton Inn was very disappointing. It was under construction. Dust in the halls, plaster being applied as we walked to our rooms, canvas sheets on the floor. My husband almost tripped. Work smell at night kept us up.. In adirion , when I said yes to the Expedia travel insurance to the hotel, it showed $19, buwhen it showed up later, it was 39, and when I tried to delete, it would not let me. We were very uncomfortable and disappointed after paying so much. For this reason, I find it difficult to recommend Expedia as a trave app to anyone. As a matter of fact, I feel you should refund our money and check the hotels before you make a charge for them. Carolyn Landers

Hampton Inn Dyersburg Stayed July 3-5, 2025

I had a fantastic stay at the Hampton Inn Dyersburg. From the moment I checked in until the time I left, everything exceeded my expectations. The room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable, especially the king bed—which made for a great night’s sleep. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel felt safe and inviting. I also appreciated the complimentary breakfast each morning, which had a nice variety and was well-stocked. There wasn’t a single thing I would change about my stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Dyersburg area and would definitely stay here again.

The property was mid renovations, but there were no warnings when booking. They had fresh paint in the halls and it looked like a war zone. The numbers on the doors were literally a piece of paper with the number printed and taped to the door. The doors themselves looked as though they had been broken into multiple times and and locks were broken.
