No one at reception. just a number to call that give you instruction on how to get in. Took 5 different phone call to finally get someone to answer and language barriers made it incredibly difficult. No one to reach out for question or concerns ever!!!! Room was incredibly small to the point that i question if the room that i overpay even for a regular hotel was actually a room or a small storage closet. Bathroom did not offer much privacy with buildings in front of it. Tv was about 20" and it did not work. Not sure why it was even there. Stay away!!!

Cheap, convenient guest house – not a real hotel

I can't in good conscience recommend this hotel, and the main reason is the attitude of the owners. For example, they insisted on cash payment, which is unacceptable, and they had no proper record of the booking – I had to remind them three times how long I was staying. They seem more focused on hanging out with friends in the restaurant than on running a hotel – it's more like a family guest house. The hotel is not wheelchair accessible, which they should be clearer about. It's cheap, so I wasn't expecting much from the room. It's simple, the bathroom is decent. But the pillow and mattress were really poor and the lighting in the room was very weak. Two good points: it's convenient for working in the city, and the WiFi is really good. But I don't think the owners have really understood what it means to run a hotel.

Oh, dear!

Sorry, can't recommend - firstly, man on reception kept asking for cash (and no one speaks English - only German and Greek - I know that's not their problem - just making the point for others). He took cash card reluctantly when I kept insisting no cash - never been prodded for cash in a German hotel before. I live in NL, practically never use cash, debit card for everything. Room was very small, no airco (that was fine for price, but also no fan and room temperature was in 30's with window open - on inside of building so no traffic/street noise, but also no breeze). So, only half a night's sweaty sleep! In the morning my husband wrestled noisily with the shower doors which, when they finally closed over left a 15/20cm gap at bottom. Then the plug in the wash hand basin wouldn't come up after he shaved - this was resolved (good-naturedly) later by the lady of the house with her drain plunger - she seemed to know all about the problem. Otherwise, non-eventful. We decided to cut and run rather than staying for the second night we had paid for! PS: Food and service in restaurant fine.

Very Disappointed.

During the night there was some loud air conditioning noise that did not help me to sleep. Internet was nil. And worst of all i had to leave at 5am to go to the airport and found myself locked in tbe hotel with no one about. I had to force the front door with my room key to get out! Parking was even worse and being disabled I was instructed to park illegally on the pavement. This is the only time i have ever given such a negative report.
