We arrived in Duesseldorf after a 10 hours flight early in the morning and the hotel had our room already available, so we could checking in and we slept for some ours. So we had a very friendly welcome. Parking was not a problem, even when the space was very tight. Breakfast was great. Location also very good, restaurants and shops nearby.
When we arrived we managed to park in the underground carpark, this does fill up quickly though. At reception we had a great welcome, they could see I was in a wheelchair and changed our room to the disabled room, I did tell them I could walk but they told us it had more room for us which was good. The room was lovely and clean but as it was an express hotel the furniture was limited. Breakfast was okay but the choice was limited. Very good location, close to city centre as well as close to tram, underground and bus stops. There is also a bar should you wish for a drink.
Location was outside of downtown but there was enough restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Close to the train. The staff was super helpful, and very nice and accommodating. The on-site parking was €17 but it is the least expensive Compared to other hotels I researched. You could also park on the street a couple block, over for free, just make sure you observe the no parking times etc.. breakfast had a good variety with hard boiled eggs and a lot of meat and cheese. Croissants were very good. The room was a bit small, but this is common in Europe for standard hotels. The room was quite warm as the air conditioning was very weak. This was the biggest complaint that I had. I recommend staying here during the cooler months.
My husband had stayed at this hotel in May 2019 and recommended it as our choice for a long weekend with friends. We stayed from 22nd to 26th August 2019 as I wanted to go to the Gourmet Food & Drink Festival again. The room was lovely & quiet - 020 and our friends 021. ground floor. Air conditioning spot on, room spotlessly clean. We took them up on the offer of 2 free beers for each day you don't have your room cleaned!! The breakfast, though all continental, was super, with plenty of it, all fresh and constantly being refreshed, The staff were amazing - the lovely Maria was so helpful when we arrived, as was Nicolas and Daniel - they cannot do enough for you. In the corner of the bar area is a little screened off area marked "Business Corner". I asked Daniel if it was possible to print off our boarding passes and he pointed me too it - I didn't even look behind the screen. Computer and printer all set up for you. So you can check your emails, print boarding passes and use the internet if you wish. Rooms have USB charging point, hairdryer, liquid shampoo/soap dispensers in shower and by sink, also a good safe. All in all a brilliant weekend with a hotel within easy walking distance of the Alt Stadt (1.25 miles) - we shall certainly be going back before the year is out.
Had a great two nights stay, good location, walking distance to the old town, quiet, but with underground links straight outside. Nicolas, the reception Manager in particular gave first class service, was very helpful when my husband lost his passport (later recovered) and gave us a friendly, professional service through out our stay. He received us with an incredible and courteous welcome, was very polite, well spoken and highly capable in his duties, I'd like to see him rise to being a general manager in an esteemed hotel as he has displayed all the necessary management and people skills required. Keep up the good work.
We came by car and parked in the garage under the hotel. The room was nice and clean, but the air conditioning was not very efficient. So the room was too warm for me. Parking and AC was the two main requirements I had when booking the room.
A nice and affordable hotel in Düsseldorf, a walking distance from almost all the main places to visit. A basic breakfast, which was the main fault. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed a quiet stay.
Once more did I stayed at this hotel. As always everything was perfect. The staff outstanding friendly and helpful. The room as always perfect clean and nothing to complain about. It's almost like being home. I always return and highly recommend this hotel. Thank you for a good time.
Please guys if you are planning for this Hotel. Think twice bcoz i have never seen such a bad hotel in my life. I'm Still in worry why tripadvisor gave Certificate of Excellence. Points for bad experince are as under. 1- Rooms are too small. 2- Breakfast is horriable. Less option in breakfast. 3- Bathroom is too small. 4- A/c will not work in 16 degree celcius. As per hotel guidelines. 5- Lobby is soo smelly you will fell like vomiting. 6- Self service in all.
I recently booked 2 rooms for a 5 night stay and was very satisfied with the standard and service of this hotel. Rooms were clean and decent in size and beds were comfortable to give us a good rest after a long day of sightseeing! There was some noise construction coming through the window on some mornings but it wasn’t too early (plus there’s construction almost everywhere these days). Breakfast options were good (some hash brown or baked beans would be nice as extras) and parking was convenient (there’s a handy tool to call a taxi at reception if needed). We were pleased when we asked if we were able to use the coffee/tea facilities in the lobby at night and they said we could. Would book here again.
