If you like the smell of a boys locker room, this hotel is for you.
The staff was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond when we didn’t have a TV remote in our room. The room itself was not in great shape- just old. The decorative blanket on the bed was dirty, although the sheets appeared fine.
Housekeeping staff need to always ensure that the TV and cable box are plugged in and on the right channel so guests can simply turn on one button and have TV service. Many guests manipulate the TV and leave it useless for future guests
The room was not that clean, the floor tiles in the bathroom were cracked, and moved. The lock on the outside door from the handicapped parking was broken. There was on elevator.
Overall good stay.
Beds are like sleeping on stone. Floors are nasty.
About what I'd expect for the price point. Could be cleaner. Adequate lodging.
The entire place had a very strong off putting odor. Although it had been “renovated” there was still old carpet in places, cracks in ceiling in room and a poor caulk job in the bathroom. Birdie however was so pleasant and very personable
Breakfast lady wasn't very friendly, but check in was good.
This is an older hotel, so understandable there are some issues. It looks they have done some remodeling, but it's not complete. The room completely smelt awful (like dirty feet), the ttowels were not clean, the carpet was not clean and the A/C didn't work in the room. The tub didn't drain and the shower curtain smelt of mold. It was not nearly worth the $ 115 we paid for the night. Normally, we have pretty good luck at La Quinta's so this is unfortunate.
Close to casino. 24 hour shuttle. Clean room, nice staff, affordable room. Casino wanted over $500 just for New Year's Eve. We paid way less fot two nights
Hotel staff was excellent. We were not aware of the renovations until we arrived. It smelled like urine in the hallways because of the paint. Was very messy both inside and out. It would have been nice to know before we arrived very late what a mess the place would be.
