This two story home overlooking the Sacramento River Canyon is fully equipped for a memorable family getaway. Upstairs is a fully equipped kitchen, living room with comfy couch and recliners, with forest views out of every window. The spacious dining room is a great place for family meals and games. The upstairs bedroom is steps away from a full bath. Downstairs in the daylight basement is your TV room. The Fire TV is ready for you to access your own favorite television platforms as well as providing you with a wide variety of free channels. Tucked into cupboards and bookcases are games, and books ready for your cozy evening entertainment. The downstairs bedroom features a queen bed and a twin rollaway bed. The downstairs bathroom features an old fashioned clawfoot tub.
If you are planning a working vacation, the downstairs office if ready for you to spread out your work, making it easy to put in a few hours after a great morning fishing or hiking, or just lazing on the deck. High speed internet and a printer are provided. The office futon is made up and ready for a nap, or another sleeping space. The glass doors in the upstairs dining room open onto a unique multilevel deck that will give your family great spaces to come together for conversation and snacks, or to slip away with a book and binoculars. There is seating in the treehouse deck and upper deck, and a barbecue and outdoor dining area on the garden deck. If you brought your fishing gear, a beautiful walk down the hill and along River Avenue will take you to great fishing holes just below the cottage. The sounds of small town life outside your front door are the only clue that you’re steps away from restaurants and shopping. Expect to hear the train. We provide ear plugs to make sure you get a good night’s sleep. Because of the multilevel nature of Tree Top Cottage, both inside and out, we suggest that families with school-aged children are the best match to fully enjoy and appreciate your vacation stay.
