The room was well lit, which I appreciate a lot. Everything was was with a great theme decor making it very charming. The room was very big but had minimal surfaces for your things, everything had to be on the floor, toiletries suit cases and such. No towel bars, no real sink counter. Heater / AC unit was very loud but worked. The bed is a very soft memory foam so it’s like sleeping in a hammock once it warms up (it lacks the firmer foam support). Overall the place was very nice, well done revamp of an old motel.

Everything was great. Only issue was that the AC unit fan was loud and when it would start up you would have to turn the tv up and it would wake you up at night.

Amazing stay!

Simple and cute motel, comfy and cozy. Check-in was easy and fast, breakfast was very nice (plenty of choices and to go choices - especially when leaving early to explore the state parks around), newly remodeled feel. Room was super clean, cute theme and having a bar close to it was super convenient! I read a review mentioning their burger and it did not disappointed! It's not too far from Falls Creek State Park.

Wonderful little hotel!

Absolutely blown away with how great our stay was! We were only passing through and spent one night at the honey bee. We weren’t arriving until after the office closed and they went above and beyond to accommodate us. Everything was ready to go and the room was HUGE, smelled good and immediately felt nice and clean. They had everything we needed, the beds were comfy, the parking was good. Next time we visit the state park I’m certain we will be staying here again!

Surprised. Wasn’t expecting roadside when booked. Rooms and lobby were very clean. I asked to move room as it was right on main road and staff was accommodating. Needed a few more plugs near bedside but was able to adapt.

poor options

Bed wasn't comfortable. It was too hard and pillows too soft. We could only get ice in lobby which closed at 6. Breakfast was donuts, bagels, or sweet cereals with whole milk. Lobby didn’t open until 730a for breakfast. Since hotel is in central time, but very close to eastern time, it was hard to get to things for sightseeing early since breafast was 830a eastern time.
