Pretty average. Beds comfortable, bathroom clean but Kleenex box empty, not enough blankets on beds, low water pressure. Hot foods at breakfast were not hot. Pool and hot tub were both closed. They said we could use the pool at the hotel next door but when it is 10 degrees out, it is unappealing to walk outside in swimsuits. Disappointed that I paid more to get a hotel with a pool and then got nothing more for my money. Hot foods at breakfast were cold, I mentioned it to the attendant who took it to warm it up, but it was still cold when she brought it back.

The hotel seemed clean, but could have been better. Could of been in better condition. Room was nice, had some slight problems and were offered a new room. Have stayed in nicer hotels for that price.
Key lock was broken and repaired at 11:30 pm. Smell of pot in the hallway. Bathroom stool was plugged and we had to go to the main floor to us the bathroom the last day.
Very satisfied! Had two grandsons with us and had a great time in the pool. Breakfast was great we all enjoyed our stay.

The breakfast buffet was barebones but OK considering that DBQ is not a big travel destination. Nothing exceptional, but noteworthy was that the king size bed was very comfortable and the room was equipped with both refrigerator and microwave. The inroom coffee left a lot to be desired. Perfectly okay if all you are looking for is just a place to stay while doing other things intown or locally.
I liked staying at the quality inn, good breakfast and it was located right next to walmart and other stores but do not go to the asian king buffet near the hotel it's horrible
No coffee did not tell us coffeemaker was broken until after 2 hours. Staff just sat on stool did not move or acknowledge anybody?
Dirty rooms..do not think I will ever return and stay there.. not especially with family.. may be alone.
HAD ISSUE WITH THE FIRST ROOM WE WERE GIVEN. FOUND DIRTY LAUNDRY IN THE BED, WHICH MEANS THEY DIDN'T CHANGE THE SHEETS. STAFF WAS GREAT, CAME RIGHT UP AND GAVE US A SUITE TO COMPENSATE FOR INCONVIENCE.

When we entered the hotel, there was a kids party going on in the lobby with little brats running in every direction. Although it was a holiday weekend, we thought this this would be a quiet location since there are other hotels in town with family attractions and larger pools. Our room was right by the elevator and on a very noisy floor. We were woken up several times by screaming children and kids knocking on the doors throughout the floor. All in all, it was a horrible stay in what should have been a quiet weekend away.
This was meant as a quick overnight to visit Dubuque and it was perfect. Located outside of town the hotel impressed me with its updated rooms. I spend at least 12 nights in hotels a month at middle level chain hotels. I had not spent been at a Comfort Inn for a while and was impressed with its comfortable beds and soft linens. The continental breakfast also had a couple of hot options which was also unexpected. Overall though, the modern, bright and clean rooms truly impressed me.
