An enjoyable stay

The hotel staff were very helpful, and the breakfast was great. Staff are considerate by offering continental breakfast if you're leaving very early in the morning. The location is great, and so convenient for everything. The one thing to bear in mind is that if you're bothered by traffic noise, ask for a room at the back. We were just about OK with the noise level with the window closed (but there's no double glazing). However, the noise would have kept us awake had we needed the window open. Other than this, I would not hesitate to stay again.

You get what you pay for!

Dont expect much sleep if you stay at the Walton. Our front room overlooked a main road juction with traffic moving most of the night. To add to the problem, partying goes on all night in Dublin city, so I advise anyone wanting to stay & sleep, book a hotel off main roads and slightly further from the centre.
