Our flight did not get into Dublin until after 9 PM. Until we got our luggage and car, it was late getting there. Almost an hour from Dublin and not easy to find. Elizabeth was waiting up for us and very accommodating!!! Great lodge, with a great breakfast! Thank you, Elizabeth, for welcoming us to Ireland!

The location was good. Close enough to Dublin but far enough away that it was quiet. The views were great. The host was very kind and told us about the team to Dublin which was very helpful for us! The breakfast was also good and the rooms were clean. Definitely an old house, thin walls so easy to hear other people but other than that it was good!

The caretakers are kind, friendly, and went well out of the way to describe how to get to places of interest in the Dublin area. The house is close to the tram (which made entry into Dublin proper much easier). Breakfast was excellent, and modern amenities made it a must.

The view from our room was good, the breakfast was ok and the room, however we felt like we were visitors rather than welcomed guests. Also I had let them know prior to our visit that I was gluten intolerant however no effort was made to accommodate this. I was given crumbled corn biscuits on the first morning and offered no alternative to toast at our sercond breakfast. Very disappointing.

This B&B is in a nice location if you are traveling from Cork to Dublin and don't want to drive all the way into Dublin. It is also a nice central location to see Bru na Boinne, Trim Castle, The Hill of Tara and Glendolough (spelling???). Plus, it feels remote despite its proximity to the city and there isn't a sense of a high crime district like those of Dublin. Rooms are modest but very clean. Ours had a view of Dublin city and the bay was off in the distance. Breakfast was delicious and the coffee was the best we had in Ireland. My husband said that they could put Tim Hortons out of business here in the states. You do have to schedule a breakfast time with them if you want the full cooked breakfast.

We only stayed one night, but truly enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very nice and gave some excellent advice about the local area. Breakfast was very good. If you stay, take the time to look at the paintings in the house. Most were done by the lady of the house, and show different views/images of the surrounding area. We even purchased one to take home. Thank you for an excellent visit!

I booked the room for our colleagues, they stayed only one night, they could not eat in the room, they had to go out and eat their dinner in the car. Do not recommend small house too far away from everything even far away from Rathcoole. They do not have credit card machine you have to pay cash. Just for the record this days most of people not carry cash anymore, we pay with card everywhere. The furniture old fashioned, used off. I paid 40 per person, was not a good value for the money.

This was our last B & B during our week tour in Ireland. A beautiful location with walking and hiking nearby. Sean gave us excellent directions and suggestions. The B&B was very clean and comfortable. We really liked that it was so close and easily accessible to Dublin

Stayed here for five nights. Very friendly and welcoming hosts. The room is cosy and the bed was very comfortable. The whole feel of the accommodation was one of charm and character. Much better than the usual soulless motels I usually stay in. The breakfast was always on time and cooked to perfection. I really enjoyed my stay. Entrance to carpark is a bit narrower than I'm used to and could do with being lit. But I was in a hire car so was probably more wary than usual! I recommend you stay here. It really is lovely.

The owners, Sean and Elizabeth were charming and lovely. So very helpful and informative. Drove us to the tram to get into Dublin and were extremely helpful in every way. Highly recommend this home. Quiet with beautiful views and close to the best pub in Ireland. :)
