First I would like to thx MS Maha from FO team really she is very helpful and professional in regards hospitality and I appreciate her experience and also thx to all FO team as the best team ever.... Just kind attention I booked many hotels between 4 stars and 5 stars and resort in different countries but ramada Chelsea comparing them is different as General cleanliness big rooms, food, suits all are super excellent in addition to that the staff are smiley and friendly Fast C/I and fast C/O really this is my second home"home away home" Thank you guys and keep it up See you on week end
A group of us wanted to go to Dubai for the weekend so we booked with the Ramada Chelsea for a cheap deal. There was another hotel cheaper than this, but we chose the RC due to the bigger pool where we could relax before going out in the evening and to use the next day. On arrival we were 'greeted' by a man on reception who seemed to have a bit of an attitude, for him to then inform us that the pool was closed during our stay. No-where on the website was this stated and we were not given an apology or explaination why this wasn't advertised. Due to the bad attitude of the receptionist and failure to inform guests of the pool closure we chose not to stay here. I can't vouch for the rest of the staff at the RC but, friendly and positive customer service can go a long way, especially on your reception desk which is where your first impressions are based when staying at a hotel.
Room & bathroom size are decent, not too small.. Comfy bed.. N it's just 10min away from the Mall of Emirates on foot, difficult to find the location unless you know al barsha area very well.. But this hotel is definitely on our favorite list
Room was very small and staff seemed indifferent. While booking this hotel I checked up for 3 things particularly. 1. pick-up and drop from and to airport. 2.inclusion of breakfast and 3 free wifi. Except free wifi other 2 facilities were not provided. Unfortunately, I did not pay attention to the booking confirmation mail. It is advised that booking confirmation be checked for inclusions without fail.
Out of all the hotels I have stayed the pillows here have got to be the best. I know that might seem random 😀 We booked this hotel last minute, and for £46 gbp it was definitely worth every penny. Pros Good location Heated pool Excellent pillows Softest sheets Friendly staff Good wifi Heated pool Cons Pool area could do with touching up Better tv selection of English speaking channels No face cloths in bathroom Room decor a little tired. This hotel is a great option for anyone looking to explore Dubai and make most of the city. If you prefer to lounge around the hotel and decadent rooms it might not be for you, but then again why come to Dubai if you don't want to get out and enjoy it?
The hotel is under renovation at the moment and it's good except one small detail that it was noisy. Apparently it will be fixed soon. The stuff is good and polite. There is a wonderful swimming pool on the last floor with jacuzzi that you can enjoy. The food is also very good if you choose to eat there.
Pros: The staff was super friendly. Great location. Free shuttle to Mall of the Emirates. Cons: the beds were uncomfortable. The shower water kept fluctuating from hot to cold. Extremely slow wi-fi. Shuttle only once per day
Had a short but great stay, I am regular guest of Ramada Chelsea this time I got a chance to meet upon c.in Liinn he was really helpful and up to the mark would surely Visit again. Staff like liinn is an additional plus point for any hotel to make service more personalised and friendly
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Well priced. Good location. Looks unimposing from the outside but the rooms are very good and the restaurants and bars are reasonably priced in a town where you can pay sllly money for food and drinks. The staff are very helpful and friendly. As a woman travelling on my own I had no problems at this hotel. Close to takeaway outlets. Mall of the Emirates and supermarkets. Good access to all parts of Dubai.
To be absolutely fair to them, it started off really well. It was so late after travelling all day with aircraft delays that the friendly staff raised our spirits, what raised them more was finding out that the Hotel bar was still open and would remain open until 3 am. Bonus. The receptionist even took our bags directly to the rooms so we did not waste any of that precious bar time. What next, well the bar had a cellar type feel to it, fairly smoky as European legislation does not stretch to Dubai I am happy to say. There was what could loosely be called live music going on to the right of the bar, but i get the idea that they were more your enthusiastic amateurs than a professional act, fair play to them they managed to drown out the noise of the more rowdy bar revellers. The serving girls were attentive and efficient, and the beer was ice cold, which I must say was the least they could manage as it was 40 Duran a pint so around 9 GBP, cheap I hear you shout, its normally 12 GBP a pint. Drink is expensive in Dubai, but if like so many of us, you work in a Dry middle eastern country then it is very welcome, even if it is on the pricey side. I digress, the Ramada, the rooms were a bit on the small side, but functional, my view was over the main entrance on to an empty dusty area opposite, shame. As I had not stipulated a Non smoking room, I got one that had been used by lots of smokers, and even though up until a couple of years ago when I was one of the afore mentioned smokers, I do not regret giving up and being around that ashtray smell, so I just had to put up with it because of my failings. Slept ok, got up hallway through the night to turn the speed of the AC down as it felt chilly, only to wake up bathed in sweat in an arboretum, again, all things in moderation, I should know that by now. Breakfast was an experience to remember, if you have never eaten a full English in one of the Middle eastern countries and have not experienced turkey or beef breakfast sausages and beef breakfast bacon then its one to put on your bucket list. The highlight of the stay was the hour spent on the rooftop pool with 360 degree views, some bits better than others, ref the earlier dusty empty area. The pool is small but perfectly formed and felt hugely decadent to be swimming on a rooftop and it was the perfect suntrap to be laying on the very comfy loungers. Worst bits, it all felt dated and a bit grubby but I suppose that is reflected in the price. Best bits, the staff were very friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble, not even bringing a corkscrew up to the 7th floor at 3.30 in the morning so a couple of slightly merry Brits could open their duty free Pinot Gritio.
