We found our stay at this hotel a very pleasant experience. Staff are very efficient, friendly and helpful. we would single out, Anchal, who we found to be exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Mr & Mrs Habib
I travel a lot overseas and normally the hotel room attendant are usually average to subpar. However I had a fantastic room attendant while I stayed at this hotel. His name was Rehan. He was very attentive, thorough in his cleaning, and made the experience all worthwhile. Not to boost up service in the United States of America, but my experience is overseas have never quite live up to what we receive here in the US. Rehan is a fantastic employee and did a fantastic job with taking care of the room and our entire floor.
We have just finished a one week stay at Ramada Chelsea which we enjoyed. The pros of this hotel are the staff are generally all helpful and ready to do anything for you. The location is good with loads of restaurants all located only a few minutes walk away. The pool and spa area are great. The Mall of the Emirates is roughly 20 mins walk away. Apparently hotel offer a shuttle there once a day at 9.30am which i did not avail of. A few negatives the hotel is located on corner of 2 reasonably busy roads and as the glass is not double glazed it became very noisy at times even in middle of night. I know mattresses are a personal choice but the mattresses here are very FIRM and i found them extremely uncomfortable as were the pillows. I mentioned twice to front reception staff to ask if they had a mattress topper to put on but nothing waa ever done so i had to fold up the spare duvet/doona and put that across the middle to support the lower back area. The room decor was okay but i honesrly think hotel needs a bit of a refresh my room had bubbling and peeling wallpaper. The hotel restaurants are quite over priced compared to others in the area and after flying in late and getting my daughter some food and paying 35AED for chicken nuggets and chips 30 AED for a scoop of ice-cream 30 AED for a can of pepsi We definitely chose to not eat at any of them again. Taxis are pretty easy to get from front of hotel rough prices to areas were Ramada Chelsea to Aquaventure Water Park 40AED way over and 50AED way back Ramada Chelsea to Dubai Mall 40AED way over and 55AED way back Ramada Chelsea to Global Village 40AED way over and 55AED way back Airport to Ramada Chelsea 90AED. Lastly hotel is located opposite a large mosque so if you are a light sleeper the 5.40am call to prayer may wake you as i mentioned the rooms are not soundproof. Overall we enjoyed our stay here good value for money and apart from the mattresses and pillows rooms had good facilities.
I'm updating my current review of Ramada by copying the one from 2015 and updating it. My home in Dubai. Favorite hotel, super clean rooms, bathroom is good, internet is free, Seasons restaurant bufee serves very good indian/arabic/international food, little less choice than in 2015. Nice bar, live music every night. Vallet garage parking, 10 min. walking distance to Mall of Emirates. Roof pool and hot tub, free gym with treadmill, bicycle, dumbells and a bench.
Let's begin with location: It's in the Al Barsha district, but at the edge. If you're seeking a place from which you can walk to the attractions in the heart of downtown, this may not work for you BUT there are so many things NOT in "downtown" that it hardly matters. What DID matter to me was that it was near a major route from which I could easily drive to the places I wanted to see, and easy to find when I came back late at night. There are also lots of small stores nearby for things you might need on the fly. They also have ample free parking under the hotel. That is quite unlike some hotels I saw, where cars were stacked up outside double parked because they ran out of space - or had none. Even more important was the the staff was extremely helpful in every way. In my case, it even meant loaning me a wheelchair for the week. The rooftop pool and spa had a man (lifeguard?) on duty who kept watch at all time and made sure the spa was turned on if anyone was in it. Really, there were so many little things they did for us during our stay that its impossible to recite them all. No request went unanswered for more than a couple minutes. You name it, they did it. Normal power outlets are 220VAC, but there was one in the bathroom that could be used as a US 110VAC outlet, and they provided adapters (physical only) to allow a US plug to fit their 220VAC outlets. Most electronics these days have power supplies that can be plugged into anything from 85v-265v, so with the adapter, we could plug those things in wherever we liked. The hotel also had a good restaurant, outdoor sheesha bar, and sports bar with video and billiards. Room service was very prompt, too. There was also a beauty spa for the ladies. My only small complaints about the facilities were: (1) a rather small tub, (2) refrigerator but no microwave, and (3) per UAE regulations, two men are not allowed to share a bed. The latter was addressed by having an extra mattress placed at the foot of our King Size bed (free of charge).
Nice hotel at a nice price. Has a nice pool and gym. Staff is friendly and check in and check out went smoothly. Within walking distance to Mall of the Emirates and there are many good/cheap restaurants around the hotel. You can even walk to the beach in about 30 minutes if you’re up for it.
I was looking for good last minute hotel deal for one night stay with my family in Dubai with good location and standard. This was one of the best results with good deal. We had smooth check-in and they gave us big corner room. Few minutes’ drive from Mall of Emirates. Clean hotel with free Wi-Fi.
I really enjoyed my trip in Dubai. Best thing of hotel is it's location, near to MOE. Staff was good, specially Mr. Himanshu - Duty Manager, very helpful and courteous. Always helps us with lovely smile. I will come back again n definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.
Check in was easy and friendly. Stayed 7 nights at an average of 250 AED per night. The Indian restaurant SPICES was really good. Enjoyed a 50% Discount on the whole bill courtesy of my friend who is more than a regular at the place. The room service menu is quite limited and bland but overall cannot complain.
This is not a Hi-Fi hotel but Superb hotel in a good location with all facilities as it is a real value for your hard earned money. Those who want to relax and enjoy their weekend and holidays, it is a nice hotel. Good Pubs, restaurants, easy approach to Mall of Emirates are some of the plus point besides friendly staff, neat & tidy rooms & lounges, good breakfast with exceptional service, good room house keeping, free WiFi and free parking. Taxi you can get 24 hrs, metro is nearby, lot of massage centers in and around are also advantage to travelers. I am sure all will be fully satisfied with the hotel.
