I was allocated a one bedroom apartment which when I arrived late at night had a freezing 17 centigrades temperature with the air conditioning on....this is the time of the year that Dubai can afford to have all of its air conditioners switched off! A big apartment with plenty of space but disappointing uncomfortable old fashioned furniture, wardrobe with no hangers, horrible looking, dirty kitchen appliances and substantial noise (including aircraft noise in the middle of the night as this place is close to DXB Airport). Now the worse was the breakfast served in the mezzanine floor with nobody in charge, restricted space to accommodate the guests during the rush morning hours with unsuitable uncomfortable furniture both inside and outside large balcony open air area (more like a conference type of furniture than furniture for a restaurant). The food was ok; but many empty trays with items missing and not replaced. This apartment building is located in the very busy part of town but is located close to two metro stations which in my eyes is the best way to commute .
Overall we were satisfied with out stay at Nojoum. Not impressed with the 1br apartment upon arrival as the the furniture and appliances are dated. The apartment was very large and the size made it better. If the price is good, I would not hesitate to stay there in the future. A good renovation would make Nojoum and excellent stay.
the hotel is good over all... the rooms are great for the price! there is also a great kichen and the sitting room is really good too... my only concern would be; you have to have a certain type of adapter to charge your phone :( you cannot charge your phone with the android adapter. but anyway its worth it! :)
I started off my travels with a few days in Dubai and booked a fairly cheap hotel. It definitely surprised me with the size of the rooms and 2 bathrooms. Great service and in a good location. Short taxi ride to the bin khalifa and within walking distance for food.
A very cozy 2 room condoo. Sitting room so big and nicely decorated. Loved every room and a very big kitchen. There was missing some glases and spoons. Called them and they came with it in 10 min. 5 star service and very nice staff. My kids love the pool and the lifeguard did really looked after them. Will deffently come again 😊.
The hotel is very close to Airport. It costs only 39 Dirham's from Airport to Hotel and from hotel to Airport it costs only 21 Dirham's + tips. The additional cost from airport is due to additional tax implicated. Booking: We did our booking via booking.com. But due to some last minute changes we need to add additional bed and it was done hassle free with the help of booking.com and Nojoum hotel staff. Please be aware all the hotels in Dubai will add around 30% hidden costs (10% Municipality (Varies per location) + 10% service fee + Tourism fee) Check - In: 24 hour reception is available and the staff is very friendly. We were given an apartment with view. The view was OK. There were some problems with sliding doors and this was fixed once we informed the reception. Rooms: The rooms were huge, clean and well equipped. A big hall, a bedroom, kitchen and a bathroom and Toilet. The kitchen is adequately equipped, which will suffice the minimal requirements. Breakfast: The charges include free breakfast and this is served from 7 AM to 11 AM. We found there are many options available and breakfast was good. You can request for Omelette or poached egg. This will take some additional time depending on crowd. Locality: The bus stops were near to hotel. There are frequent buses to "Gold Souk" and Deira city center. Two Metro stations are just a Km away. Staff: All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you all for our stay pleasant. Other Amenities: The hotel also has swimming pool, Gym, Spa etc... But we did not get a chance to use all these...
It is on a busy and well known road and not far from the airport. The apartment is huge and good value for money but the cleaning and maintenance is not up to standards. The breakfast is average but the staff are helpful and friendly.
This was my 7:th trip to Dubai, but the first trip in the last nine years. This time I took a shot in the dark and reserved six nights in a hotel placed in Deira. Based on the website Booking.com, the hotel I booked had 8.2 out of 10 points: Nojoum Hatel Apartments. In short terms: + friendly staff + big rooms + the price was ok, but not worth the money because all the remarks below On our arrival, we had to call the reception because our bedclothes were dirty. Housekeeping blamed “the new staff”. Really dirty/filthy room. It was badly cleaned and long time worn out with mold in the bathroom ceiling and in all of the lamp screens. Poor breakfast (far from the photos on their webpage). We did not use the kitchen during our visit at Noujum Hotel Apartmens, because the dishes were badly cleaned and the kitchen was filthy. The gym at Noujum Hotel Apartmens was bad/ok. It was badly cleaned, had traces of an old water leak and some of the machines were broken. Luckily the gym had dumbells up to 40kgs. Summary: Not worth the money! I have a hard time trying to understand how Noujum Hotel Apartments can deserve a 8.2 points out of 10! - Really badly cleaned/filthy kitchen - Mold in ceiling and textiles - Poor breakfast I don’t recommend Noujum Hotel Apartments to anyone. I will not stay at Noujum Hotel Apartments again.
Stayed here for 8 days on a 2 bedroom apartment. The good points: the place is huge! Its more than enough for 4 adults, almost everything is provided especially in the kitchen. Location is great, and the staff are friendly including the people at the reception and the guard. The not so good points: the place is a little bit outdated, the place is clean but some areas are not thoroughly cleaned, we have reported a missing remote control for one of the tv's 3 times and nothing happened. Overall our stay was good, some mishaps but for the price... I think you can let some of it slide.
There in nothing fancy or glamorous, but if you wish good location and rational rates, Nojoum is a perfect choice. Our apartment was at first floor facing side street; no views but quiet enough. Everyhthing in the rooms were worn, but funtional and clean. High ceilings, so a lot of air. Breakfast room is tight but breakfast was proper enough. There was no signs that warm dishes are available but they were by order. Gym is not so modern but functional with nice views over the airport. Pool area was quiet and saunas were suitable. Dressing rooms needed cleaning!
