First of all the staff: although I'm sure I didn't meet every employee during my 3 night stay everyone I did meet was very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable with the only down side the chair in room was old and and frayed. Otherwise the room was kept clean and well stocked. I am a very light sleeper and managed to sleep well here which doesn't happen often in hotels. They had a pool a jacuzzi also but we couldn't get the jacuzzi to stay on, otherwise pool and jacuzzi area were very clean with extra towels for pool use.

I enjoyed my stay here I was able to get the room I wanted and relax in the hot tub as well as the pool. They are very well maintained. This is where I will stay my next trip to Douglas. Also I found a great little bar down town called the Collage Inn Bar. It has the most ornate back bar from 1906.

I stayed here for 3 nights in August 2017 for a wedding during the total eclipse. It is located right off I25 on the outer edge of downtown Douglas. The hotel is very clean and welcoming. Front desk staff were engaging and friendly. The room was nice and the bathroom was very clean. Wifi worked fine. Breakfast was unremarkable. Walk to town is a bit of a hike but there is a Platte River walk on the way that is reasonably close.

I stayed here for just four days on business. The hotel itself was decent. Nothing spectacular, I did not get to try the breakfast because I had to leave for work before they opened. The only issue I had was the WiFi did not work or when it did work it would be very slow. The slow WiFi forced me to do all my reports at the airport or on the plane which I really don't like doing.

Had a really good experience when checking into this hotel. Jeremy was behind the desk. He has such a cheerful personality, a really nice person to talk to. Really good customer service skills, Room was really Specious, clean and modern. The only slight problem was, as we were at the front of the hotel on the ground floor, the heavy curtains did not pull. Breakfast was delicious, choice of cereal, scrambled eggs, cold boiled eggs, ham, turkey sausages, delicious pastries, toast and waffles. Such a delicious choice.

I can't believe that Holiday Inn's designers could make such mistakes. We needed an accessible room, but would have been better served in a standard room because of two big mistakes. The accessible room was in the very back corner of the building -- the longest possible walk -- and the corridors are finished with plush carpet and underpad. It is impossible to use a walker or wheelchair. Carpet in any public space should be low-pile (industrial) glued directly to the floor without underpad. The wi-fi was too weak to work. Fortunately, the excellent reception man (Jeremy) was able to find an ethernet cable, but I had to crawl on the floor under the desk to plug it in. On top of all of this, our king-size bed was way too soft. Absolutely the worst style of bed for anyone, but especially a disabled person with serious back pain. The wonky plumbing was laughable, but at least it worked. We were awakened early by traffic noise because the loose-fitting windows provide zero soundproofing. Breakfast was disappointing because of the meagre offerings of fresh fruit. It's August -- where is the bounty of the land? Jeremy was very helpful recommending Sapporo restaurant, and the other staff were friendly and helpful, but the building is hopeless. Shame on Holiday Inn. I am a retired hotel development consultant. If the company wants to make amends, please contact me. I was in room 301 on August 22, 2017.

We have come to expect wi-fi at every nationally-branded hotel. So when these expectations are not fully met, we tend to get a little owly. Such was the case at this hotel. Sure, we had wi-fi, but it cut in and out, only showed one of the three strength-levels on the wi-fi fan icon, and was no better (even worse) at 3 AM when we figured the wi-fi traffic would slow down a bit. One more irritant: Holiday Inn is a big name in hotels, and the brick and mortar aspect of this hotel is top drawer, but the expendables are dirt cheap. The tissues, lotions and even the microwave are just about as low rent as you can buy. But they work, so I won't say more. One nice thing -- ice machine on every floor and conveniently located. Overall, just an average stay.

The Holiday Inn Express felt like all others - comfortable, clean, safe, and spacious. The hotel is fairly centrally located and we enjoyed the walking trails along the river next to the hotel. We foundthe town as a whole was charming and the thought was reinforced by the pleasant staff members. Their breakfast was consistent with others in the chain and tasty. If we ever find ourselves in Douglas again, we would stay here.

Nice alternative stop when traveling I-25. Jeremy could not have been more friendly or helpful. He rebooked us into a handicap room, assisted us with locating a restaurant to accommodate special diet, and brought a heavy quilt directly to our room. Had to laugh as we were leaving for dinner, he patiently reviewed instructions so we would arrive at the correct destination. Rooms are clean, breakfast was just ok, and our stay was restful.

We were here for a wedding. Adrian at the desk at night was first class from beginning to end. We called her from Michigan and she answered all our questions and was very helpful!! It was good meeting her in person. Rooms were clean and spacious. Pretty quiet too. I would stay here again.
