My overall experience was good. The hotel was decently clean, a touch of mold in the corners of the bathtub, but otherwise good. The night person who checked me in was kind and graciously put me in an upper room to get some sleep. My experience was matted by the manager at checkout who I informed him that a housekeeper tried to enter my room when I was clearly responding and I had to shove the door closed after exiting the shower in my towel. It was not ok to have them enter while I was still inside and not checked out. I was also alone and it was really scary. I brought it up to the manager Butch Richard’s who proceeded to tell me that the housekeeper didn’t hear me and that it was my fault that I didn’t use the do not disturb sign. While I u see stood, I explained that there should be a better way, perhaps they could check the computer to see if people have checked out and not barge in when they are responding. He got mad and in my face and told me repeatedly it was my fault and to use the door hanger. No apologies, no listening, no compassion for my situation. He and his helper Satara yelled at me as I walked away to use the do not disturb sign and continued to yell at me down the hall. Wow!!! So unprofessional! The hotel in general I would stay at, but never with those two working there. Turned a decent stay horrible.
