The staff was very nice and friendly; It seemed like they were trying their best. My son loved making waffles in the morning. This hotel is incredibly rundown. The whole hotel smelled very stale. Our room was especially smelly of old pee and cigarettes (maybe because it was a pet allowed room?). I do think they would benefit from replacing that carpet with laminate. We had to spray Fabreze periodically to be able to stand being in there.

The bathroom was really small with lots of fixtures in need of repair; BUT the beds were very comfortable and the price really affordable. The wifi was fast, just don't do anything unencrypted on it. It was not secured. Skip the coffee and breakfast. Place a towel under the front door, the gap is quite large and the light from the hallway coming in while you're trying to sleep is bright.
