This hotel is a dump! I purchased this hotel on Priceline for $101.45. It was supposedly newly renovated. When we arrived at the hotel, there were 3 other people waiting to check in. The customer at the desk said he had been trying to get checked in for 20 min. When they finally checked him and his co-worker in, the next customer was checking in two individuals who appeared to be homeless with their belongings in garbage bags. I would have left except I had already paid on Priceline. This customer apparently didn't even need a credit card to check in and I heard him say to the desk clerk that it was already taken care of. I really don't know what was going on, but I was not comfortable with the situation. When I was finally getting checked in, the desk clerk said I needed a credit card in case there was damage to the room. I repeated that I had already paid for the reservation on Priceline. He said he needed it anyway. When we finally got to the room, the place was a dump. There were only three 40 watt bulbs lighting the space. It was very dark. The desk looked like someone had taken a hammer to it, and the rennovations were poorly done. When we turned on the air conditioner, it squeaked and sounded like a broken truck going down the road. The desk clerk had also put us in a pet room. We didn't have pets. The ice machine in the hallway had flooded the area next to it. Today, I discovered that the hotel also charged me for the night for $86.45 even though I had told them I already paid for the room on Priceline. Word of caution, Priceline overcharges for their hotel rooms and their reviews are misleading! They wouldn't do anything about the inflated cost of the hotel. Upon calling the hotel, I was told the manager would get back with me tomorrow. Hopefully, I will get a credit on my statement for the dumpy room we had already paid for.

It’s very clean and comfortable. No issues at this hotel. We enjoyed our stay, the staff was very helpful, the snack bar is well stocked, there is a couple of good restaurants close by, and a couple of good bars too.

We have enjoyed the comfort and availability of the Dothan Comfor Suites many times. Don't understand the fluxurations in rates, as we budget ourselves at less than $100/ night there are other good inns in the area within that rate range and have used some of them.

This is a nice hotel, but the people working may not have all the details they need. There was a couple in front of me when I was checking in that had a problem with their key not working. They told the attendant they heard noise in the room so the attendant called and found out the room had already been occupied but it had not been entered in the computer as being occupied. She got them straight and then proceeded with my check in. She gave me our key and when I got to the room the key worked and I opened the door to find out our room had also already been occupied. At first I thought they just did not clean the room because I saw the beds unmade and garbage on the floor. Then I noticed clothes hanging up and electronic charging devices and realized that someone else was already staying in the room. I went down to the front desk and told the attendant and she said apparently the person on first shift did not enter things in the computer correctly. So she gave me the keys to another room. This room was really nice and spacious. It was a suite that had 2 queen beds and a sleeper sofa, perfect for our size family. The only other problem we had was that the air did not cool no matter how much you turned the temperature down.

Above and beyond during Hurricane Irma. Comfort Suites Dothan fitted out & opened rooms under renovation for those of us southern Floridians who were not only weary from the horrendous drive to Dothan and elsewhere, but under horrible pressure with worries about our homes and loved ones. Even though we only spent one night there, in a room under renovation, we were thankful and impressed! Even the room maintenance staff were wonderful, smiling as they allowed us to joke with them and reciprocated helping with stress relieving laughter and smiles!

Comfortable room, helpful staff...highly recommend!! we had evacuated from Florida during Hurricane Irma......great place to rest and collect our thoughts. We would absolutely stay there again in the future.

The manager blamed a mistake by her staff and charged out credit card. We didn't stay at the hotel and have a paper receipt to prove it. We evacuated there from hurricane Irma. We didn't need any further stress. The manager was rude and treated me terribly and was not professional at all. She kept putting me on hold and also hung up on me.

They did a great job handling the EXODUS from Florida due to Irma This is where we are staying on our return trip home. Rooms were nice - clean, spacious, roomy. Free breakfast buffet. Free Internet. Hotel was excellent

Slept like baby an so did my wife an the breakfast was also great , my grandkids enjoyed the pool an the space in the room ,not jus an old small room big lots of space for every one to move around an not b tight

The staffs are very friendly. and room is very clean. The quality of breakfast meets my expectation. It is a very nice hotel to stay when you have a pet travel with you. Really enjoyed staying in that hotel.
