We had a great time staying at this hotel. It was clean and the team made us feel welcome and at home. We were there for a week on a family trip. The fitness room was well kept and there were many options at breakfast for us to enjoy, we hung out in the lobby on occasion to get out of our room for a little. The manager Pam was there a lot and was very friendly. There were restaurants nearby which were good as well. We hope to be back again soon. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
Easy to locate and in a convenient location for traveling thru Dothan however breakfast may not be interesting. Morning staff was busy and that may be why we had overdone eggs. Room was clean and the staff polite.
We have stayed here for several years and it has always been a good place to be. We would recommend this place for any and everyone....near all of the restaurants and places to visit while in Dothan. Thank you for allowing me to give this review.
Water was not hot enough to shower, heater did not work and the room temp did not make it out of the 60's. Check in process was quick. Lobby area was clean and orderly. Room was clean and the T.V. worked.
We had a wonderful stay at Dothan. Check in was a breeze--no problems. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well.. The breakfast in the morning had many choices. The staff was very helpful and allowed us to stay over a few minutes because I-10 was closed and we had to take different roads than planned.
My family and I spent one night there while travelling. We'd been staying at this hotel for years and travel about three times a year and stop here overnight. We won't be returning. We asked for a late checkout when we signed in online. On the day of our checkout, the front desk clerk called us several times and asked us to leave. We told her that we had a late checkout, but the clerk said that her manager told her not to allow late checkouts. The hotel was very empty and the same clerk checked us in and should have seen that we requested a late checkout. We usually ask for them so that we can get plenty of rest and have extra time to get our special needs child ready in the mornings. When we left, the housekeeper was standing there looking flustered. It was very unprofessional. Plus, the hotel isn't in the best neighborhood.
Clean and centrally located for Dothan. Staff was friendly and offered suggestions on eating establishments in the area. We had two rooms one was handicapped accessible, it was actually nicer than the regular room. Rooms were clean but the curtains were torn in one of the rooms. Hotel was quite and the breakfast was excellent! I would stay here again.
The room appeared almost new, but the bathroom needed attention. There was no stopper for the tub and our young grandsons had to shower. They hate showers and screamed the whole time. The shower head was shot and it was like showering under a garden hose. The sofa bed, in the king suite, was very uncomfortable. The room had a room darkening shade, but there was a powerful outside light aimed directly at the window - something to consider.
This hotel is a dump! I purchased this hotel on Priceline for $101.45. It was supposedly newly renovated. When we arrived at the hotel, there were 3 other people waiting to check in. The customer at the desk said he had been trying to get checked in for 20 min. When they finally checked him and his co-worker in, the next customer was checking in two individuals who appeared to be homeless with their belongings in garbage bags. I would have left except I had already paid on Priceline. This customer apparently didn't even need a credit card to check in and I heard him say to the desk clerk that it was already taken care of. I really don't know what was going on, but I was not comfortable with the situation. When I was finally getting checked in, the desk clerk said I needed a credit card in case there was damage to the room. I repeated that I had already paid for the reservation on Priceline. He said he needed it anyway. When we finally got to the room, the place was a dump. There were only three 40 watt bulbs lighting the space. It was very dark. The desk looked like someone had taken a hammer to it, and the rennovations were poorly done. When we turned on the air conditioner, it squeaked and sounded like a broken truck going down the road. The desk clerk had also put us in a pet room. We didn't have pets. The ice machine in the hallway had flooded the area next to it. Today, I discovered that the hotel also charged me for the night for $86.45 even though I had told them I already paid for the room on Priceline. Word of caution, Priceline overcharges for their hotel rooms and their reviews are misleading! They wouldn't do anything about the inflated cost of the hotel. Upon calling the hotel, I was told the manager would get back with me tomorrow. Hopefully, I will get a credit on my statement for the dumpy room we had already paid for.
It’s very clean and comfortable. No issues at this hotel. We enjoyed our stay, the staff was very helpful, the snack bar is well stocked, there is a couple of good restaurants close by, and a couple of good bars too.
