It was just one night stand but it has fulfilled perfectly all my needs for one night stand, there is a mini bus to transport you directly to and from the airport in 10 minutes, good breakfast and restaurant.
Food and beverage staff, not one in restaurante in bar - speak English! this is ridiculous. neither they are eager for service, the only english word they know is: "don´t understand" not only this as they are all times behind on the back office and you have to wait wait wait, until you are desperate and go and look after them - for service. should I knew this before I would never reserve here. the only good feature about this hotel is quality of the bed, 10 min. away from airport and quick transfer services provided. and the kind lady on the laundry, if this is what you only require, then ok. because all rest, service, making bar or restaurant order - forget. they better off placing self service machines that would doma better job than their staff.
My boyfriend and I booked one night at the Ramada Moscow Domodedovo hotel. We arranged for a bus pick up from the airport over the phone one week prior - the receptionist spoke English and was very helpful. When we arrived to meet the bus, it was not there. We waited in the cold, calling Ramada several times and were told '2 more minutes' each time. The hotel room itself had only been prepared for one guest - one bathrobe, one bottle of water, one pair of slippers, etc. - though there were two of us staying in the room. The deadbolt on the door was broken. The wifi barely worked. The shower head wall attachment was broken and made showering very uncomfortable, as we had to crouch down to get under the running water. For my boyfriend, who is 6'4, this was very inconvenient and frustrating. There were two comforters on the bed. One of the comforters was too short for my boyfriend to be fully covered, fortunately the other one was bigger, so I used the smaller one. The bed itself was quite comfortable; the room was quiet and dark with the curtains closed. The toilet paper felt like cardboard. We feel that the cost - 99$USD - is exorbitant, especially considering the quality of the room and services. We will never again stay at a Ramada hotel.
I stayed here for one night arriving late one evening. Firstly as I tried to called the hotel, the receptionist struggled with English and his answer was to just put the phone down! Upon arrival I was checked in and went to my room. The room was basic but ok. However as soon as I went to sleep the noise in the room was awful. There was no sound proofing and I could hear the guests next door shouting. I called down to ask for a change of room but again reception could not understand English. After 3 hours of no sleep I walked down and explained I wanted another room and eventually I was understood. The next room was quieter and better but the service was very poor as no apology loft was offered even when I checked out. The only good element of this stay was the shuttle and location as it is only 5 minute drive from the airport.
Stayed as a family of 4 prior to an early morning flight out of DME. We booked a family room with 2 singles and double and were told that the room was all ready for us when checking in - it wasnt, but was quickly rectified by the addition of the 2 single beds. The room was very big but also very hot with poor temperature control. We ended up opening a window to cool the room down which wasnt great from a noise viewpoint as DME works around the clock. Shuttle bus was handy and ran to time. Staff were not so welcoming and the bar / restaurant people unpleasant to deal with - a shame as this was the first time we had encountered this kind of attitude during our visit to Russia. Food was relatively poor. If we need to stay in the area again we will try another place.
Nice hotel big and clean and not far from airport Domodedovo. Have a shuttle bus to airport every comfortable. Have a big sleep in the night. Very quiet. One word...perfect .cheap price. It is worth for your money
Great position is you come/go to the airport. Hotel is ok, good and nice staff. Perfect shuttle bus from/to the airport: just 10-15 min away. Rooms are fair, not small even if the bathroom is a bit too small. Internet: working well. If you stay 1 night only, this is a great deal.
I stayed there for 4 nights, while waiting for the flight, hoping to work from the room. Well, if you generally work remotely, this is not the place for it. The wi-fi in the room is terrible. Even thought there are few connection points, none of them is reliable. I connected to 5 and they all fail after 5-10 minutes so I had to reconnect. Forget about having a meeting on-line. You may be okay just doing the emails. Somehow, my room was close to the kitchen because every morning I could smell the food being cooked. I guess, it also was close to the designated (or not) smoking area, because I got that too coming in trough the vent. Not the most pleasant smell in the world. Maybe, I just got a bad room. In the room, there's no coffee maker, but they offer you a bottle of water every day, there's a fridge and a safe. There's also drinking water in the lobby. The hotel has an ATM in the lobby and offers a free shuttle to DME.. You can pay for the breakfast buffet it was okay. The lobby bar dinner was good.
This hotel is a Ramada. Not to be insulting, but you're not booking the glitz and marble and superb amenities - you are booking a hotel to be a comfortable stay, sleep well, and do some work in. It met those needs for me. Ask for a room away from the elevator as it can be noisy and slow and be careful on the stairs when you get frustrated waiting for the elevator. It is very convenient and acceptable. I'd stay again if in the area.
I spent one night there waiting my next flight, was not easy to reach the shuttle in the airport becuase the languaje didnt help but as soon as I arrived, the people in the front desk was very nice and efficient; the room was very comfortable, good wi-fi speed and the room service was fast and delicious; in the morning, the shuttle was very helpful to reach again the airport; it was not a tourist tour but was a great first approach to Russia
