The bathroom door was warped and would not close. We could not get the TV to work and the person on duty finally got it to work, you have switches that go nowhere (interesting). A table needs to be put into the bathrooms. I do not like to put my clean clothes on the floor and you should not have to be naked in front of people to get dressed after a shower. Outside of that the place was nice.

the man who checked us in said the hotel was booked and couldn't give us a different room. My husband ordered the wrong room. We wanted 2 queen beds, my husband ordered one. in the morning we asked the lady at the front desk if they were booked she said no. I told her what happened. The hot tub didn't open till 10 am. For us that was too late.

Nice hotel. Close to pizza hut. Small town with limited food options so that was important to me

The Super 8 is located near Governor Dodge State Park, House on the Rock, and Taliesen. It was clean and hospitable to me and my dog.

The hotel exceeded expectations, Staff was terrific and room was clean and in good repair.

Staff was great. We left a phone charger in room after checking out. We happen to still be in the area the next day and stopped by to see if they had it, they did! Most times if I have left anything at other hotels, I have just kissed it goodbye as they said they didn't have it. Great place to stay. Great location, etc. Would stay there again.

Hotel has no elevator and 2 floors, so if you get a 2nd floor room expect to lug whatever up a flight of stairs. Also orbitz says it has a pool, but it's ONLY a WHIRLpool (i.e. Hot tub). So don't expect to be able to take kids swimming. Breakfast selection is pretty typical but the eating area is way too small, 3 tables and 2 couches. More than a few times people had to stand around and eat.

Hotel fine Orbitz not so much after being billed twice for one room it took me over a hour the phone to explain the problem .Then when they figured out it was there fault after calling everyone else involved .It was like I should thanks them for returning it .You stole my money and I should thank you good by Orbitz buyer beware

The Super 8 is basic accommodations, but they have everything you need. Clean, comfortable rooms with fridge and microwave. Some have table and 2 chairs, some have armchair. Breakfast had hard boiled eggs, make your own waffle, 2 kinds of cold cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, orange and apple juice, toast, danish, apples and bananas. The only thing I could have wanted was connecting rooms that each had 2 queen beds. They only have rooms with one bed that connects with a room with 2 beds. Basic, but perfectly adequate. We'll be staying here again.

it was good, breakfast was good and convenient close to original destination

Travelling from MA to midwest this was a pleasant stay. Good value for the price.

Stayed here before House on the Rock -- the staff was all VERY nice and our room was clean and comfortable. Refrigerator/freezer could have been a little bit colder, but that's a minor detail (lucky we had them in the room in the first place!). It was so incredibly quiet at night and my husband and I both slept like babies -- it was perfect! Breakfast had a nice selection of things (weak coffee, but that's ok)

At check, in the individual appeared upset that we had booked our stay via a 3rd party booking service... we had booked 2 rooms and I had called the hotel in advance to ask for adjoining rooms. The check in employee insisted that since we had booked through 3rd party, they never received the message and not listening to me that I had specifically looked up their number 3 days in advance to call their hotel directly and can show her on my phone's call log. When she finally listened, she said well then they did the best they could (same floor, 7 rooms away). This is fine but just didn't need the drama/hassle at check in after a long drive. The rooms had a weird smell in one room (musty covered by perfume for one and the other had a strong cigarette smell in the bathroom coming from the vent - I'm in non-smoking). At check out, I asked for a bill when the employee took one more swipe at 3rd party booking services and stated the bill was confusing due to it was a 3rd party's statement. Again, I'm a seasoned business traveler who stay at much higher end hotels and have no illusions of what economy brands are about but did not need the drama on a short family getaway.

My wife and I stayed here instead of in Speing Green because it was cheaper. We thought our room was great and the beds were comfortable. The only downside was the horrible breakfast selection that neither of us would eat... White bread, waffles, generic yogurt, or frosted flakes.

This Super 8 was pretty much exactly what it is supposed to be: an affordable place to sleep for the night. It had a clean and comfortable room; nothing fancy at all. The only thing that even merits mentioning is that while they do have a hot tub in this hotel, the heater in the room in which the hot tub is located was on 24/7 (broken thermostat) and so while the hot tub itself was perfectly fine, the room was uncomfortably hot.

Stayed one night and was surprised at how nice the room was. The room was nicer than the resort we stayed at the next 2 nights. The room was big and comfortable. We liked the bed so much we are trying to look for one like it to buy. The staff was very nice and helpful. And the restaurant next door was great! We would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our visit to Dodgeville, and our Super8 room was comfortable, larger than some, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The continental breakfast had a nice variety of items to choose from, including the waffle maker. The front desk assured me being late for check in when we were delayed would be no problem, and it wasn't. We had another couple with us, and they kept our rooms together. Some places put you on different floors. There was little noise and the place had plenty of guests. Very nice except for the stale cigarette smell. Need air fresheners or something!

overall good. Got there late , left early, had a good nights sleep.
