for $35 what do you expect? It was clean and comfortable, good TV with nice selection.
This is an older hotel and could use some cleaning
The carpet was nasty and I sleep in my clothes due to the stains and smell from the bed. And I know this is not pleasant to say. But unfortunately this was my experience.
The hotel was very dirty, sheets were disgusting and had burn holes in them. If I could have found another hotel, I would not have slept in my clothes at this hotel.
The worst night of my life! The air conditioning did not work. I felt like I was staying in a sweat lodge. could not sleep because it was so hot. The place was not very clean and everything looked well used. When we got there the hotel had no record of our reservations so we had to call the travel agency. they were helpful but it took awhile to figure out where to call and how to find the number to call.
Motel was pretty good, looks a little old. Not bad And it was good because they allow pets,
Desk clerk was friendly and efficient. Room amenities were very good and the room looked clean, but it smelled rather musty. Heating was very comfortably warm in subzero weather outside. Hallway was very dirty. Breakfast offered juice, coffee, tea, milk, cereal, bread, and ready-made waffles. The price was much more reasonable than all the other hotel offereings..
Hallways were quite dirty, but room was fine, although it did have a bit of a musty smell. Amenities were very good. Room was comfortably warm when temperatures were subzero outside. It was a very adequate stay while waiting for my next day flight.
The Staff is very unfriendly and not even willing to answer questions about other Super 8 motels such as phone numbers or locations. The room smelled really awful and was extremely dirty. There was definitely bed bugs and I have the bites to prove it after 3 nights. I will never stay there again and will make sure the company I work for never lets anyone stay there as well. One star is too much but my only choice.
Motel slum-lord. Dirty room, sheets with holes, moth eaten blanket, lousy breakfast, security lock didn't lock, toilet seat that won't stay up, noisy refrigerator, saggy mattress, hard pillows - all bad. Prepaid so had to stay! Owner refused to make any concession at all, even though I had to make my own bed upon arrival because there was no sheet on it. Room was not made up the next day - no service, dirty towels left on floor were still there and bed not made. Owner tried to make it my fault and throw me out, even though prepaid.
staff tried but maid service poor or non-existent. place is a ripoff at $120+ per night even tho avail motel rooms hard to find in Dickinson.
They were putting new carpets in the hallway. It appeared that some old had been left in the back door with it open all night. Rooms were not very soundproof.
we just hung out at the motel cuz it was just a weekend to get away!!
Very dirty. in my room the toilet was not fixed and was running constantly. The carpet in the rooms was worn out and not vaccumed for many years, the windows could not open, dogs hair were all over the room, the smell of cigarettes both in the rooms (supposedly non smoking) and in the Hall way. When asked to change at least the room was told that they were booked solid. It was not true. the worst experience for a hotel charged $70 per night.
While the room did have an iron and ironing board, the ironing board was broken. This motel is in need of major refurbishing. I guess you get what you pay for. Some friends that were also staying here at the same time reported that their shower was broken. It was relatively inexpensive, and so I guess if you just need a place to sleep for a night it might be OK. However, don't expect too much.
Seeing Medora, ND was terrific. The hotel price beat anything Medora had to offer. The TV was good and the free breakfast was nice. We did not spend much time at the hotel. The bed could have been more comfortable and the room dusted and windows clean.
The motel was easily accessed from I-94 and was only a very short drive from several restaurants. The room was adequate, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast nook was small and crowded. The entire facility was starting to show wear and tear, but was certainy adequate for an overnight stay.
This hotel was disgusting. The room was filthy. Not vacuumed, food left in drawers, cough syrup spilled, toilet was not just dirty it was so disgusting like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. The shower was dirty, cigarette burn holes in blankets and best of all were the pillows! They had huge yellow spots on them with no covers! When we complained, the manager just turned away. No other rooms were available anywhere in the city. Ended up staying in a motor home for the remainder of trip. Check out copy of receipt has a different credit card number on it, with a reduced rate. But, I booked with Orbitz, and that is the amount I am sure will be charged to my card.
average hotel for the price. could hear people in the room upstairs walking around (squeaky floors)and everything (floors, bedspreads) felt damp.
Visited Medora and the Musical...great fun place to visit.
