Beautiful decor, great location, clean and attentive staff! Wonderful time!

Locks did not work, narrow hallways. Staff were great, but a few bugs for new hotel.

Not your typical cookie cutter hotel. Has a very vintage a homey feel.

Beautiful property, I would definitely stay again.

Good location, near people mover. Easy to walk to Cobo center, Ford Field, etc. Unique decor, with a very old vibe (ala the Overlook Hotel). Convenient Valet parking with very friendly staff. No coffee or hot water in rooms, and limited availability at coffee kiosk. No restaurant on site, but a cute cool bar.

It's a beautiful property but the Chamber room we were in was very small.

The design and history of this property is quite unique and funky. It appears to market itself as an upscale hotel but unfortunately it doesn't have the service to match it. The amenities are lacking and so is the service. Example - our room was not made up on the middle day and a follow up request to the front desk for at least fresh towels and linens was met with an empty promise to address the issue and no response. The next morning it took 3 requests and 45 minutes just to get fresh towels. The staff here put on a pleasant exterior but don't follow through with expected levels of service for an upscale hotel.

This hotel was like going back in time. So much thought was put into this incredibly unique place and the bedding was luxurious and so comfortable. I will definitely be staying there again.

We loved the unique retro vibe this hotel offered. Felt like we were transported to another time! Conveniently located near many attractions, and lots of great restaurant options within walking distance.

This was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed out. The staff members were so kind and helpful, and the hotel was beautiful, comfortable, and very relaxing.

A very jazzy hotel. I love the renovation with they did bringing old time Detroit back

the location is great.. BUT the valet/door staff needs some serious training.. the rooms are TINY boxes, barely larger than the queen bed they cram in them. the bathroom sinks are supposed to look swanky, being square and tiled, but they literally hold water constantly in the basin (they don't fully drain). also, there were toenails on our bathroom floor. YUCK! there were actually people waiting in line to get into the tiny lobby bar (which was a joke)

Fun, cool, unique hotel in the city of Detroit! Great location and decor!
