The place was clean and roomy, didn’t have a twin bed but they did have an extra sofa that an adult size person could sleep on.

Big Disappointment
The building itself is pretty rough. There is a scary elevator and no A/C in the hallways. It gives hostel vibes. Check in was dreadful; they didn’t know I was coming. I had to drive around downtown Detroit for a hours while that was getting sorted out.
The neighborhood does not feel safe, even for a downtown environment. You only get one key so your party really can’t split up. Most days the smell of weed was pungent in the halls. The apartment itself was nice, it had that industrial charm, but upon closer inspection, it was disappointing. The bath faucet was detached and wobbly, the walls are very thin. Partying next door was louder than the TV. You can hear the freeway traffic as well. They say there are three beds but really there is a king bed and 2 futons. The futons are about as wide as a camping cot.
When you hear “lofts” and see the pics, you think you are getting that industrial feel luxurious apartment. This was not that. It looks good from a distance, but is not all that good, I should have spent my money at a hotel instead.
The bed was comfy and large. It was a well equipped apartment and the apartment itself was relatively nice. But, the overall experience was not as expected and I will never stay here again. No way.
Everything about the loft was amazing. The vibe and ambience were perfect. It's a touch romantic and a touch sexy, but could also be great for a family too. Worth the price 100%
I was highly disappointed with the total experience. There were hidden costs, they constantly watched the camera of who was going in and out. I felt totally trapped to pay a few in order for my family to come visit for a family dinner. I never felt comfortable at all, I actually felt like I was being robbed. There was only one bed everything else was futons and pillows with no pillow cases. The elevator was broken, in fact it wasn’t an elevator it was a freight. Very misleading description to say the least.
The location was great as our event was at the Huntington Place. The price was very good as we did not want or need fancy accommodations. The building and loft were both very secure. We only encountered a few people coming and going. Parking was conveniently located right next to the building.
The loft had all the appliance and kitchen amenities for storing and cooking food, and a nice barista bar. It also had a gorgeous wood floor, but they were creaky and a bit dirty. The property advertised accommodations for up to 5 guests, but they allowed us an additional guest on short notice. We had 6 guests and there was enough sleeping space, but there was not enough linens/blankets. We had to bring in car blankets.
Overall, we were satisfied with the experience.

The property is located in a sketchy area of town. When entering/exiting we often found that there were people hanging around on the sidewalk or just waiting in cars near the building. Thankfully, we had no issues with any of them, but it was a bit concerning. The building itself doesn't have great curb appeal and is clearly quite old. So old that the elevator inside is the type that you have to manually pull the door to open/close it. The floors are old and wooden and very creaky. Once we made it into the apartment though, it was clean and comfortable feeling, so we easily relaxed and settled into it. We could hear music from other units, but it was New Year's Eve, so we just paid it no mind and turned on music of our own. After a couple of hours I received a text message from the property management telling me that they've received several complaints about the volume of the music from our unit and that they would be contacting the authorities to have me removed from the property if I didn't turn it down. Wait...what!?!? This was the first I had even been made aware that the music was a problem, and you're already threatening to have me removed??? I turned the music down immediately after seeing the text, same as I would have done had they just requested that I turn it down (without the threat), but I was so turned off by this lack of tact and immediate escalation of an easily resolvable issue that I would never want to deal with them again.
