Very nice place to stay. The only problem I had was the door opened funny. Felt safe in the area.

Great value for a decent room. Staff was friendly and professional.

the staff at this location are friendly, helpful, competent. Nice people who know what they're doing.

There is a smell in the room. The staff confirmed it is a non-smoking room because of Michigan law on indoor smoking on public facility. But I saw cigarette butt on the floor outside the room. Otherwise, It could be from the carpet. Anyway, it definitely has a smell. We should have requested for a change of the room.

Adequate for what I needed. Pricing reasonable. Bed was quite saggy and needs new mattress.

Very convenient for my trip for business in the locality.

When I booked this room I was expecting a clean place to stay in a safe area. That is exactly what I got. The carpet, furniture and bedding was clean. The bathroom was clean. Check in staff was helpful and the desk professional the following day was as well. The mattresses felt a bit tired, but I slept fine. I liked having the fridge in the room. I'd stay here again, without hesitation.

Everything was very good...the only issue was that the room had a very mild odor of smoke.

Room was exactly as described....no frills inexpensive room. Clean but dated. Right next to a very good and inexpensive Greek Coney Island restaurant that makes up for the coffee only amenities.

My wife and I overall expected to have more amenities, such as a hair dryer, larger and thicker towels, and a bathroom door and front door that would close properly. Also, we requested additional pillows, but we were told they did not have any. The lady at the front desk, however, did the best she could to honor our requests. She was from Hawaii.

Was there for a grand total of 6 hours just to sleep.

This was the most reasonable place around the location where we had car trouble on a Saturday night far from home. We needed a clean bed which was provided. There were no extra amenities except for coffee in the lobby. There was a restaurant nearby, good as we couldn't drive our vehicle.

Good value for the money, rooms have been remodeled.

I never stay in the second building now as it has roaches and bedbugs. The building with the office is much better, although i do travel light and thouroughly check my belongings. Still it is more comfortable than the Motel 6 in the area. The rooms warm up quicky and will swelter if that's what you desire.

The rooms were clean and the staff was supportive, we had locked ourselves outside by keeping the keys and all the bags inside, but the staff helped us in getting a new key.

The hotel was needed for a short stay. It was what I expected given the constraints that I had at the time.

The mattress was poor the sheets were thread bear I think that my bed had bed mites - itched most of the night but did not see any bite marks - but you do not always see bite marks.

Can't complain for $45/night. Wifi worked w/o any issues. Great for pets (i.e., no extra fees and lots of outdoor green space). One thing that would be nice is if Red Roof had coffee makers in each room instead of just the lobby. I've stayed at this location multiple times for budget business travel and will do so again.

Stayed 4 nights at the Red Roof Farmington Hills. To start off, this is my first stay at a 2-star hotel. I was surprised to see that there was no iron & board in the room and I had to go to the lobby to pick one up. Also this place does not have a fitness center or a business center (with computer and printer). Not sure if this is normal for a 2-star hotel but its something that I have come to expect. On a positive note, I thought the cleanliness of the room was good.

When I walked in my room, I was pleasantly surprised that it did not reek of smoke. That was about the only good experience I had. I was dead tired and just wanted to climb into bed, so I pulled back the sheets and much to my horror I found several curly hairs at the top on the sheets, by the pillows. Disgusting, but I was so tired after a 10 hour drive, that I just grabbed the 2 bath towels and covered the hairs up and tried to sleep. I paid extra for a room with a fridge and micro. The fridge was barely cold. I turned it all the way up and my food items were warm to the touch. I asked for a repair or another room and was told none was available. I went out and bought a large sheet to cover up the bad and sleep on that. I was there 4 nites and every morning when I went to the bathroom I was greeted with several small black beetles. The bathroom floor is some sort of fake wood, and the rest of the room was carpeted. The beetles came out from a spot in the carpet and went directly to the bathroom. Don't plan on ding much on your laptop because the wifi is terrible. Frustrating having to wait 5 mins for something to load, that is, when the wifi is working, which it wasn't 65% of the time. Good luck sleeping with pillows that have seen better days, like in 1982!
