Room was very cleani, which is usually one of my first complaints so that was that was great refrigerator glass stove top hot water shower all great. My biggest thing was I couldn't get the heater to work at all and it was very cold..
Stove top,sink,and full size refrigerator.
Nice size bed but very very soft I found it uncomfortable. Sheets and blankets were spotless clean
Decent size TV with a small set area there cable channels were blah very basic other than that

I was only here for a very short stay, the staff is friendly enough, and I just got back from a Halloween wedding. I checked in late when I got here and I have to leave very early for a funeral. I walked in and there was a cockroach crawling over my dress for tomorrow. I'm going to check for bed bugs too, and make sure I don't have any more cockroaches in my bags so I don't bring anything home with me. The second floor kind of smells like weed too. So I would definitely give this place only a star. We also have to take our own trash with us, isn't that is what I pay them for? This place is kind of low class and grossed me out so I won't be staying here again. I also left early. I would go ahead and just spring for a better hotel and not stay here.

WoodSpring Suites in Ankeny

I went to this hotel and found the lobby shutter closed at 6PM, call the guy and he provided a room which was not ready, dirty, smelled every where. I decided not to stay as I did not feel safe and left the Hotel.

Parking was good. Is not secured 24 hours like the building says outside. And you have to take your own trash out otherwise its a $50 charge if you dont. The building needs to be cleaned better, like walls wiped down, floor mopped, elevator cleaned badly.
