Room was warm and clean; the bed and pillows were very comfortable. (We stayed in the winter) The staff were courteous and the dining area was clean with breakfast well stocked. We had requested a quiet room on the third floor and the staff were happy to accommodate this. The hotel is older but well kept. If you are traveling on a budget, this is all you need!

Manager was directly in front of the building smoking a cigarette when we walked up to enter/check in, so we had to walk through the smoke as our first impression. Our room smelled very strongly of bleach when we walked in. The fitted sheet on the bed had a large wet spot near the foot of the bed, which we discovered when we pulled off the top sheets and comforter. It smelled like some sort of cleaning solution, so maybe a spot cleaning that did have time to dry before the bed was made? Breakfast was underwhelming. Scrambled eggs from a boxed mix, very salty sausage patties, and no butter for the toast/bagels/pancakes. Biscuits and gravy without the biscuits. Unfortunately, the TV in the breakfast room was blaring CNN news, which was really an unpleasant way to start the day. Staff were friendly, and the room-darkening window shades were amazing!! Room was quiet and bed was comfortable.

The breakfast was one of worst ones I have had at a BW, sausage was cold not warm cold !!!!! The gravy was cool , Breakfast area was nice and clean. The room not very clean,and smelled musty the AC was very loud even on low fan speed. Had a bug crawl out of the water faucet! For a BW I was very disappointed
