You'll need a car

NO SMOKING INSIDE, NO OUTSIDE FIRES, the two small fireplaces (one in the basement with the pool table, and the other in the primary bedroom are inoperable). The main fireplace in the living room with the vaulted ceilings is a wood burning fireplace and you CAN use that one

Please make sure to put the address into your phone BEFORE you leave; cell service is VERY spotty near the home

IMPORTANT: 4WD vehicles are strongly recommended in winter months. Our contract with the snow plowing company states that plows will be deployed only once 6” of snow has accumulated on the roads. We will not be able to send someone until then.

1) If you are driving - feel free to park in the driveway or in the garage
2) Please be careful on the public road. Mind speed limits and be aware that weather
conditions can make it dangerous. Please take your time and be courteous of others
who live in the area.
3) Quiet hours in the neighborhood are 10p-7a. 
4) We are on a septic - pls do NOT throw anything other than Toilet Paper down the
toilet; and no food products in the kitchen sink
5) As a reminder please note the ONLY fireplace that is operable is the living room
fireplace (please make sure the flute is open)... The smaller units (in basement and
in primary suite) are not operable.
6) Fire extinguishers are located on the main floor in the kitchen and next to the main
fireplace. In the loft on the second floor. In the mud room of the basement. And next
to the firewood pile outdoors.
House Rules:
-We prefer if you take off your shoes, but we understand that’s not always possible
-Smoking is allowed outside (no smoking in the house) - IF you smoke outside, please
make sure your cigarette is properly disposed of (and no littering). 
-Wash any dishes that you use.
-You can have other people over, but please ask us beforehand...We won’t say no - we
just want to know who is here.
