This beautiful basement is newly renovated and completely comfy and clean it has two queen beds and single bathroom,kichen ,free wifi , washer and dryer(who stays morethan 5 days). our basement don't have a private entrance but has entrance through garage door that only serve guests . our location are 10 minutes from Denver airport ,university hospital and 20 minutes away from Denver downtown. Mile away from grocery store, restaurants and public transportation . WE DO NOT ALLOW TO USE MARIIJUANA ON OUR PROPERTY.

The place was good for what we needed. We didn't have control of the temperature and the portable heater was broken. It's a little awkward going through the garage and then going into the basement. It did get a little loud in the evening

The host was fine, responded kindly and promptly. Unfortunately the condition of the unit was horrible. The unit was dirty, rotted moldy food in the kitchen. Dirty dishes and pans. Dirty refrigerator/freezer, broken stove, broken toaster. General dirtiness and stained and damaged furnishings. Wad of hair in the shower drain. Hair on the bedding and towels, and wads of hair left in the floor and washer. Stuff splattered and smeared on the walls and doors throughout the unit. Lack of kitchen utensils, glasses, etc. three mismatched forks and spoons, and no butter knives. Filthy pans, and cooking utensils. Everything needed to be washed. Overall, just icky. Additionally, the folks upstairs were incredibly loud throughout our time there. We clearly understood that this was a shared building and would have expected some noise. This seemed beyond what was appropriate with kids running back and forth, yelling, seemed like a party going on. In fairness to our host, we were aware that this was an attached unit and we did not talk to the host. Because of the purpose and arrangement of our trip we were limited on our choices to relocate and we did not want to have a contentious encounter with the host who lived on site.

Very close to Denver airport. Lovely area of East Denver. House relatively easy to find - although I didn't see the house# until my 3rd pass in the dark. Easy entrance thru garage. Hallway dark upon entry at night and stairs a bit steep upon entry - it is a converted basement shelter apartment. Clean and basic. Kitchen fully stocked. Very small fridge. Front room bed comfy. Nice large shower. Really appreciated the gallon of water for my beverages. (I highly recommend offering shelf-stable half-n-half 1 Tbsp servings. I almost bought a box of 24 for 3) There is of course a lovely local coffee shop breakfast spot nearby. It was a very nice place overall and just what i needed for my visit! Grateful for the last minute reservation.

It was very easy and had everything I needed. However, it was extremely loud one evening with a whole bunch going on upstairs. I would have liked an actual lock on the door down to the basement apartment. It made me feel uneasy that there wasn't one. Nothing made me feel like I needed one but since the family is so close it would have felt more private with a lock.

Property was not ready when we arrived at 4:30pm so we had to wait in our car until ready. Refrigerator is quite small but with just 2 of us we managed. We were away from the home all day and it was nice to get back to the home to watch a little TV. The main reason i selected this vrbo rental was for the washer/dryer. The owner also allowed me to park in the driveway, which i appreciated very much. Overall experience was good and i would rent again.

The place was clean and safe. Check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. It was a basement unit but with a chain lock inside for safety. Good safe neighborhood. There was a really intense food smell throughout our stay that wasn’t very pleasant.

Check in was great but the listing said it came with a smart tv, cable, and toys and entertainment for kids it did not, it had a cheap TV with antenna only, the beds were very hard, had dirty walls. Usually from my experience with a vrbo they usually have food in the fridge or pantry, minor stuff like milk and eggs maybe some bread and crackers but there was nothing. The water in the shower when from hot to cold to hot to cold very random. The smoke detector wasn't plugged in. They are very nice but our experience was not. Lastly my wifes car was side swiped on the road the first night.

The hosts are absolutely wonderful people, they were willing to go out of their way to help me any issue I was having. Comfortable accessible stay

Comfortable basement apartment easy to access with plenty of elbow room. Conveniently located near major highways making commuting very simple. We stayed with our two adult children. We all had plenty of space to relax after a long day. Super convenient highly recommend.

We stayed here for four nights, and unfortunately, it did not meet expectations. When we arrived, we were given the wrong door code and were unable to reach the host by phone, text, or VRBO messages. After standing outside for quite a while, we resorted to ringing the doorbell several times before anyone finally answered.Inside, things didn’t improve. One bed squeaked so loudly it was impossible to move without waking everyone up. The other bed was extremely firm and uncomfortable. Several lights were either flickering or completely out, which gave the place an unfinished feel. We were only provided a single roll of toilet paper for four people over four days, with no bathroom soap and a foul-smelling kitchen sponge. When we asked about dishes, we were told they were in the cabinet, but we didn’t find them until the second day in the dishwasher. The cookware and utensils appeared old, scratched, and barely usable.The bathroom fan was so loud it disturbed the entire house every time it was turned on. The first aid kit contained only a single gauze pad and a wet wipe. Overall, it felt like someone started fixing up the property but never finished. The price may have been fair, but the stay fell well below reasonable standards. I would not stay here again without significant improvements.

Prior to me booking this VRBO there was nothing in the title or description stating that you would be staying in the basement of this family’s home. They changed it after I said something. I didn’t think VRBO allowed shared spaces to be rented but this is most definitely a shared space. You can hear the family walking and stomping around upstairs. It’s very loud and made it difficult for me to sleep. If you want to go to bed at a decent time forget about it. Or if you plan on sleeping in you can forget about that too. There are also very strong scents of Indian spices. The bed is very uncomfortable. The sheet kept falling off the bed and the pillows are flat. The neighborhood was ok but there are cars parked everywhere on the side of the street.

When we first arrived we thought we were getting the whole house based on the exterior photo of the listing, but then looking at the listing again we realized it was a basement apartment. It was fine though and served our basic needs during our stay in Colorado.

Traveler Beware

I'm giving this property 5 stars because the pictures and descriptions were accurate. Having said that i must warn travelers that the host likes to cook with Indian spices that are very strong and aromatic that last all night. They have kids that like to run and you hear every step. Finally beware that you are in a basement apartment and you ONLY have air tv. You will have internet, but NO cable or streaming services. We were looking forward to relaxing and watching march madness, but with the air tv it would keep stopping and be stuck on the pixels. Who ever heard of a vrbo that didn't have streaming? Especially when paying over 150 a night? Motel 6 will give you cable. Our visit was so poor we ended up canceling our vacation a day early and went home, wasting 150 and not doing the events we came to Denver for. So traveler beware of the negatives and make an informed decision before renting. I can not in good faith recommend this place. I house the host will invest in a streaming service such as direct tv , FUBO,OR YOUTUBE TV.
