We reached the hotel at 6am in the morning unaware of our check-in time of 12pm as per the hotel policy. So we requested the person at the reception to take us in with some extra money. Without looking at our face he just told to pay RS 1000 extra. We politely negotiated because we would not be staying there for more than 20hr as we had a flight over night. The person was very rude and told us to cancel the booking. Finally we paid him whole amount plus the existing amount which was supposed to be paid at the hotel as per selected option in MMT. We requested for a receipt for which he told that we would get it during checkout. Next day at 3:30am, we checked out and he presented us Rs 40 bill for the mineral water. After paying him, I requested him to give our hotel room bill as our cab was already waiting outside and we were getting late to airport. He started writing some less amount on the receipt for which I objected and told him to give exact receipt. He refused to give and told that he can give only this amount. I told him to give my money back which he had taken extra. Now he got little tensed and started writing the correct figure on a receipt but the receipt was fake one without GST. When I insisted on a original bill he denied and spoke rudely. I did not have time as we were already late and cab was waiting outside. This only shows callous behaviour of hotel staff. We did not have food in the hotel. Bathroom looked old and window was left open for ventilation as it did not have one separate ventilation. Rooms were OK but little dusty. Passage was not ventilated nor air-conditioned, hence was very hot. Overall hotel lacked hospitality, lack of civic sense
I have stayed at this hotel on three previous occasions. The place just keeps getting better. It has a homely feel about it. The staff here are wonderful and always helpful and attentive to your needs. The rooms are large with clean linen and comfortable bedding. Each floor has a floor supervisor and mine was again Agit who was amazing. He was always there to greet you but let you have your space as well. Unlike many hotels I have visited, the staff at this hotel don't have their hands out for tips all the time. They are quite classy. This hotel is located in a great area for tourism with many major landmarks either very close by or near. Red Fort, Jamma Masjid, the Hanuman Temple and the great shopping precincts of Connaught Place and Palika Bazar are both nearby. Also close is the railway and metro stations. This is a great way to get around the city. Krishna also has a professional travel desk operator who can assist with any local or interstate travel. I will continue to stay at this hotel when I visit India. Well done to all the staff there !!!
A nice hotel in the center, in a popular area !!, rooms are clean , the terasse is very nice and the staff very helpful. I didn't realy enjoyed breakfast because no "croissant" 😑😑 Never mind a good adress to discover the real life in new delhi,
If you wanna try the real atmosphere of Delhi, you should stay in downtown at first. this hotel with rooftop restaurant is the best choice. don't worry about anything ... in India you eat your breakfast you go out and you come back just for sleep :) I see people talk about noise ... read about horn in India and the philosophy ... its all over the country so you can't run away :)
Well what can I say apart from it often feels like a warm blanket . Clean hotel with a lift for a change. Large room but bathroom a bit tired but still okay. WiFi worked well but had to get a new password from reception every 24 hours . Breakfast was good and different everyday. A trip to airport from hotel cost 600 rupees. It was a lively area and at no time did we feel unsafe walking around during the day and night time . I took tuk tuk to Connaught place 50 rupees which is worth a visit and walked back . I also felt sick in a hotel fever , headache Lavleen mam help me lot at that time she gave me paracetamol pill thanks for all for making my stay a super comfortable..
Overall happy with stay and very helpful lady on front desk lavleen mam if nothing else had gone right with hotel this lady ensured I would have left with a good impression. Good rooms, breakfast was good and service was really good honestly. The best hotel in arakshan road
Krishna is a solid choice for a hotel in Paharganj. Rooms are spacious, there is a good rooftop restaurant, that I can also recommend for breakfast. There are some issues that are typical for India: close to my room was a service chamber, always open and dirty, bathroom equipment was old and rusty. But apart from this, quite okay.
Im very glad that I choose this hotel in paharganj. Excellent service good professional friendly staff very very helpful. Excellent food in the roof top .the buffet choice for breakfast was good which was mainly Indian food although there was cereal and choices of juices the sweet lassi also there good hot coffee. It is also very close to the railway station. Very safe inside although would not feel comfortable walking outside at night time . Lavleen mam was a great help she also did my checkout . Overall excellent
