I was hoping for better, but it felt like a norman bates type of hotel in the middle of the country. I felt kinda safe and I'm a tall guy. The curtains are see through so its hard to get privacy, and then the heater didn't work so it ended up being one of the coldest nights I have had in a hotel. Would not go back.

The hotel was not clean the beds were not made we did not stay there we went to the hotel next door Days Inn

I got an excellent rate for this room. I was at a conference at the hospital and paying out of pocket and the other hotels right there were at least double to more than triple the rate I paid at the M Star. The room was totally clean and I felt safe traveling as a single woman. I would stay there again in a heartbeat if I had business in the area. It had a cabin like feel. But I cannot stress enough that if one is looking for an inexpensive option, to give this hotel a try.

High value for convenience to tollway, awesome restaurant and gas. Doesn't get better for a traveler only staying to eat, sleep and gas up.

Two friends traveling and needed two beds. We had to pay an additional $40 over the $99 already paid for the room. The rooms were definetely not worth that price. We had two double beds in a split room. The room was very outdated but the beds were clean. The towels in my part of the room had been sitting there for so long they had dust that had settled on them. We will be traveling to the area next year but will not be staying here.

was quiet very peaceful and close to town i loved the timei spent there with the one i love

The Arrowhead Motel has a lot of potential and is in dire need of some major updates. The mattresses on both beds where old, lumpy, and everytime you turned over the entire bed squeaked loudly. The pillows were flat and worn. And the odor in the room was awful, even after spraying it with Febreze several times. The carpeting was old, and the bathroom was completely out dated and had a horrible smell of urine with a nasty looking bathtub. There was a small desk in the corner under the TV set, and no table to eat at or read the Sunday newspaper. The location of the motel was far enough off the main road and turnpike to minimize the traffic noise, but over all the room should have been much nicer for the price.
