¡Bienvenido a Grandview Getaway! El nombre ciertamente habla por sí mismo. Ubicada a solo 15 minutos del centro de Boone y a 2 millas de Blue Ridge Parkway en 5 acres privados, esta casa ofrece la soledad y la tranquilidad que necesita para una escapada pacífica a la montaña.

Ingrese a la sala de estar del nivel principal, que cuenta con una chimenea de gas de piedra apilada, un televisor de pantalla plana y muebles acogedores para que familiares y amigos se reúnan. El comedor tiene una mesa con capacidad para 8 personas al lado de otra chimenea. La cocina se completa con una estufa de gas de 6 quemadores, plancha, 2 hornos y utensilios, lo que la hace perfecta para que el chef familiar prepare una comida. Justo al lado de la cocina hay una terraza cubierta con parrilla de gas y hermosas vistas.

El dormitorio principal, ubicado en el nivel principal, tiene una cama king size, un baño grande con bañera de hidromasaje, ducha a ras de suelo con azulejos y lavamanos para él y ella. También en el nivel principal hay dos dormitorios más. Uno con una cama queen y otro con dos camas individuales. También hay un PackNPlay disponible para que lo usen los huéspedes más pequeños.

Arriba hay un dormitorio con una cama queen y un baño privado con una combinación de ducha / bañera. Por último, baja las escaleras para encontrar no solo otro dormitorio con dos camas individuales y un baño, sino que también hay una mini mesa de ping pong para entretener a los niños.

Great for dogs!

Great views, close to Boone, and enough space for our dogs! We enjoyed our stay, however communication could have been better when a small issue camp up.

Fall break visit

Overall the stay was good. The house was not very clean. There were long black hairs everywhere, in the showers on blankets. No one in our family has long dark hair. Very dusty and cobwebs throughout the house. The downstairs had a bad smell as well. We spent a lot of time seeing the sights during the day. We did enjoy the hot tub as well.

Grandview review

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Grandview Getaway. Excellent space for a group. Some highlights for us included the solitude location, large dinning room table, decks for days, hot tub, highly functional kitchen and of course the views. The house definitely feels remote, but you are also not far from Boone and Blowing Rock. All the views and hikes you could want are nearby along the Parkway and State Parks. For some good brew check out Appalachian Mountain Brewery in Boone. They are pet friendly with an ample outdoor area and seating. Thank you! Mike

Family Trip

We loved this property and would recommend it to others. The view was amazing. We loved the privacy of this property and it’s proximity to Boone and Blowing Rock. It is minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and provides a wonderful setting to create priceless memories.

Great for Multiple Families and Kids of All Ages

We had a great weekend at the Grandview Getaway. The cabin is stocked with all of the necessities. The space inside is open and easy for family and friends to gather. The views are spectacular and the wrap around porch makes it easy to see the views from all angles.

enjoyable stay for a large group

We booked for a long weekend away where we could gather for meals and great views with a group of friends. This property was wonderful - we especially enjoyed the large living room with great views and fireplace. We were able to spread out, cook large meals, and enjoyed the hot tub. There were a few stink bugs as a few previous reviewers mentioned, but not beyond what we might expect in the mountains. My only suggestion beyond attending to the stink bugs would be to replace some the bed and bathroom linens that were worn.

Weekend Away

We had an amazing weekend away with friends and all the kids. The wrap around porch was the perfect place to hang out and has the perfect views. Lots of mornings and evenings were spent next to the double sided fire place. We would definitely recommend this house to others!

Awesome Views

Location was beautiful, home needs some maintenance work done. Gate on outside porch the hinge came off and we went and bought screws and put it back. The garbage disposal side in sink kept getting stopped up we had to keep plunging it. There is a leak in basement bedroom mold and mildew on the ceiling. There was no ping pong ball for kids to play we went and bought some and board games had no pieces inside to play the games. Several of the steps going down into the basement room the wood was coming unattached. Some of the blinds wouldn't retract like they should. I called and reported . House is really nice and location was awesome, just need to do some work to the house.

Nice house with beautiful views

First, make sure to follow the printed directions to get to this property. It can be hard to find and GPS is not accurate (Yes, experience talking!) The property was overall clean but needed some maintenance / deep cleaning. Items like a broken stove door handle, non-working burners, dead bugs in all of the ceiling lights, cobwebs and a dirty hot tub did not give a great first impression. The company was responsive but it still took 3 of our 4 nights to get the hot tub usable which was one of the main reasons we chose this cabin. I would also recommend bringing cookware you may need, we ended up having to go buy baking pans for brownies and the frying pans need to be retired. However, we still managed to have a great time! The beds were very comfy and the views / privacy were amazing! If the hot tub was ready as advertised, I would have given a higher rating for the property.

Beautiful-but some issues

The Cabin was in a wonderful location and the instructions to get here were spot in. Close to town but far enough for a peaceful retreat. There is a serious insect problem here- there were ladybugs and stink bugs everywhere - we even found stink bugs in the coffee maker when we showed up. Furthermore, the place is a little outdated- the kitchen has patchy items ( few random wine glasses, champagne glasses, no kitchen scissors) and there were overtly broken things (oven door handle, door to downstairs) just arranged to look like they weren’t broken. The fire place in the living room where we mainly spent all of our time was broken- we called maintenance who showed up and could not fix it. I think more care could be taken to make this place a little classier. Overall- we enjoyed the stay, but it could certainly be improved upon.
