We got stuck in the elevator for about 30 minutes. The children were very anxious and frustrated. It happened to be bike week as well, there was also a veteran trapped with us who mentioned several times that he suffers from PTSD in enclosed spaces. Tiffany and Jennifer from the hotel offered late checkout to us in response so that we could "reclaim some of our time". No thanks!! Two of their four elevators we saw were not working the entire time we stayed, causing long, long lines every time we wanted to go up/down to our room. My kids were too scared to get back on the elevator so we walked up and down to/from the 5th floor for the remainder of the stay. Inside the elevator that we got trapped in (South #1), I noticed that the inspection sticker expired in 2023.

The staff was super nice, hotel was sold out, they didn't have the 2 queen oceanfront that I paid for, we agree on a king bed oceanfront and gave us a rollaway bed, dropped the resort fees and give me some points for my Hilton Honors account. room was spotless, quiet place, nice view, right by the boardwalk

The elevators in this place are horrible!! All you do is wait to go and wait to go down. It could also use a good cleaning.

The hotel area above dining area was dirty. Trash on the rooftops for days. Broken and full cocktail glasses on the outside balcony by the dining area. The elevators were treacherous wait times. Parking situation was a nightmare. We had to park across the street and the key cards wouldn’t work. Not just us.

Paid for a King suite and was told upon arrival that that the rooms were sold "out of order", whatever that means, and was given a cabana room. Normally the cabanas are nice but the one we were in was the worst one. Just one big room with no cabana. They wouldn't move us to a good cabana room.

The location, lobby, restaurants and beach were great, and the valet was top notch. Once you get in your room it was like the place was in denial of how bad the rooms are. Paris Hilton would not set foot in the rooms. Never saw any personal walking around which you see at most higher end hotels. Nobody was giving any care to the customer except for the valet.

First issue was I paid for an ocean front room and had a room with a view of the pool. I complained and they tried to tell me it was considered ocean front. The elevators to the rooms were broken and they said to use the stairs. The knob in the shower was broken and came off when I turned it on. The paint was chipping . The furniture was awful. Definitely not worth the price

The room was clean. The restaurants and bars were very nice. The only inconvenience was that there were just one elevator working throughout the weekend.
