The cottage is just a 90-second walk from the sandy and secluded Melrose Beach, offering breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean.

This cottage includes the Melrose Pool for the 2024 Summer Season. Daufuskie Island is accessible only by ferry or water taxi, and we will provide you with contacts to book your transportation. Our team is dedicated to ensuring a smooth arrival and stay, so you can focus on enjoying your vacation.

Getting Around:
Logistics

Concerned about the logistics of coming to a bridge-less island? Don't be! This cottage is managed by Daufuskie Rental Group, the island's premiere vacation rental company. An on-island team will be available to help you sort through the boat options, ground transportation services, and golf cart arrangements. We are also available to help in any way while you're on the island. After all, we take our slogan to heart: "No Bridge? No Problem!"

Other Things to Note:
** PET POLICY:

We will accept a well-behaved canine member of the family if approved by the property manager. However, the dog must be over one year old, not be aggressive towards people or other pets, be house trained, does not get up on the furniture, and is ok with being left alone when you are away from the cottage (no incessant barking or destructive behavior). We require that you will be a responsible pet owner when the dog is outside, that your dog is always kept on a leash, is up-to-date on flea and heart worm treatment and...most importantly...that there will be no signs that your pet was in the property when you depart. You must be responsible for any damage and/or extra cleaning caused by your dog. There is a nonrefundable pet fee of $125 for one dog.
