Alatai Holiday Apartments

GOOD UPGRADE

WE BOOKED A ROOM FOR 2 ADULTS AND 1 CHILD BUT IT WAS VERY SMALL AND ONLY WITH ONE SMALL BED. SO WE TALKED TO THE MANAGER AND HE KINDLY UNDERSTOOD AND UPGRADED US TO TWO BEDROOM APARTMENT WHICH WAS QUITE SUFFICIENT FOR US.

Adina Apartment Hotel Darwin Waterfront

Wonderful Waterfront Respite

This is a great waterfront location, with easy walking access to Darwin's downtown, and of course, the waterfront. If the public wave pool across the street gets tiresome (which it won't!), the hotel has a nice pool of its own with a good length for doing laps. Rooms are large, and good for stretching out in. When you want to go out, but not stroll too far in the heat, the hotel's bar and restaurant, Curve, is outstanding.

Travelodge Resort Darwin

Great Stay in Darwin

I was in town for a few days. This is a hotel within walking distance to a grocery store, numerous restaurants, a shopping mall and bars. It's also two blocks from Mitchell street, the heartbeat of the CBD of Darwin. There were problems with accessing Wifi in my room and it took a few (long) hours to resolve. I had to call the front desk or speak to someone more than twice before it was resolved. So, I encourage the hotel and maintenance staff to be in better communication to resolve guest concerns. The A/C in the rooms could be stronger (especially considering the warmer/hot temps in the Spring and Summer). Housekeeping staff is excellent and very kind and attentive.

Value Inn

Location, needs tlc

Location 5/5 but the rooms need some love. When I left the window and curtains open the room smelled fresh but with the aircon on it quickly smelt damp. You could see where rusty steel and mold have been painted over on the door of the bathroom. Very comfy bed, all the bits you need, own shower/ toilet and microwave down the hall. To pools, good washing facilities. First in first regards parking. Overall because I found special rates on line, I put up with it. So 3/5. I feel it could be noisy at peak times, especially as next door building was not presently occupied, but the aircon drowned out other noises, something that used to drive me nuts I now appreciate.
