Hotel comfortable, clean and convenient location. Easy access to central Darwin and waterfront. Spent the warm afternoons at wave pool right out the front door of hotel and walked into Mitchell Street for night life. Great food and entertainment.

Was nice and small and friendly. Rooms were fine, but the towels lacked a 4 star feel to them. Location was great and could walk to downtown Darwin and to the restaurants on the wharf. Good gym and nice lap pool.

DARWIN IS A GREAT PLACE TO VISIT AND 1 WEEK IS MORE THAN ENOUGH. IF YOU PLAN TO VISIT KAKADU ALLOW MORE THAN ONE DAY. MEDINA VIBE HOTEL..... ON ARRIVAL........ UNFRIENDLY STAFF. NO VISITOR INFORMATION IN ROOM. TV OUT OF ADJUSTMENT. FLOOR WAS DIRTY AND NOT VACUUMED.REMAINED THIS WAY FOR 7 DAYS. THE BED SHEETS WERE DIRTY/STAINED ON ARRIVAL.WHEN DAY 3 OF 7 ARRIVED AND THEY STILL REMAINED UNCHANGED I REQUESTED A LINEN CHANGE DAILY. THE FOLLOWING DAY THE LINEN WAS CHANGED BUT NEVER AGAIN. THE BEDS WERE MADE DAILY BUT NOT PROPERLY. BENCH AND TABLE TOPS WERE DIRTY ON ARRIVAL AND REMAINED DIRTY (IE CUP RINGS) FOR 7 DAYS. 2 SMALL THIN TOWELS WERE SUPPLIED EACH DAY. ONE DAY WE RETURNED TO ROOM MID AFTERNOON TO FIND ONLY 1 TOWEL.WHEN PHONED TO RECEPTION TO ASK FOR MORE WE WERE ADVISED THAT THERE WAS A SHORTAGE!!!!WE MANAGED TO GET SOME FROM THE POOL AREA. DARWIN IS A HOT HUMID CLIMATE WHERE WE PREFERRED TO HAVE 2 SHOWERS A DAY AND THE MORNING TOWELS WERE NOT DRY DUE TO THE HUMIDITY. SOAP NOT REPLACED IN ROOM. WHEN RANG RECEPTION TO ASK FOR SOAP WAS ADVISED THAT SOME WOULD BE SENT UP DIRECTLY............. "STILL WAITING!!!!!" POOR DOMESTIC ROOM SERVICE. USED WINE GLASSES WERE REPLACED IN CUPBOARD UNWASHED AND SMELLING OF STALE WINE. THEN ONE DAY WE SAW THAT THE "MAID" WAS A MAN........."THAT EXPLAINS IT ALL"...STATED MY HUSBAND. THE WALLS IN THE ROOMS ARE THIN .WE COULD HEAR GUESTS IN THE NEXT ROOM. ROOM SERVICE TRAYS WERE LEFT OUTSIDE ROOMS IN CORRIDORS FOR 24 HOURS. WOULD CERTAINLY NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AT THE PRICE WE PAID ONLY AS A BUDGET HOTEL AS IT IS IN A GOOD LOCATION.

Beautiful location on the new Darwin harborfront.... great room, wonderful wave pool, wonderful beach, all terrific. Housekeeping was slow in cleaning rooms (ours was seldom done before three) but everything else was truly lovely and the value for the money was tremendous. Onsite food choices are a bit limited but within 2-3 minutes you can walk to everything from Italian to seafood to local food. We stayed in this hotel as a week and used it for our base for visits to Litchfield NP, Kakadu NP, Darwin, etc.

I was in Darwin for a professional meeting. I was greeted by a well-attended front desk who were perfunctory in their reception: here are the keys, here's where you park. I had never been to the area before and could have used a warmer welcome after nearly 30 hours of air travel. The rooms are efficient, lit with dreadful fluorescent lighting. It looked like a Red Roof Inn (a low-end Accor chain, for you non-Americans). No real luxury, but not dingy either. I wasn't told if there was breakfast in the hotel, and no one oriented me to any of the amenities within and without the hotel. Due to no work of the hotel itself, the location is rather nice. In the Wharf Precinct, away from the hustle of Darwin CBD.
