Doesn’t represent value at all (quite the contrary to the name) For $110 a night for a private room this was super unfortunate Tiny little cramped room, very noisy, even had cockroaches Would not stay again and would not recommend

This place is cheap and clean. But be aware the rooms are VERY tight. They're designed for you to go to the bathroom & then go to bed. The rooms are so small, the beds take up so much space, that it's a squeeze for two adults to walk past each other. Also - the air conditioner didn't work properly. It was still warm in the room. That said - location is excellent. Right in the middle of town.

Had 4 nights here and it was perfect for a budget traveller that wants some extra comfort and privacy. Very handy to be able to use the facilities next door (kitchen, pool and bar). Room was small but had everything we needed. Bed was very comfy and had always hot water in the shower. Fridge and air conditioning were a good thing to have as it was HOT haha. Location is perfect, right in the middle of action but we had no trouble with noise. Our room was facing the car park, which helped I bet. Would recommend and come again :)

Bathroom light didn't work, and TV also. Both repaired after requested, doesn't say much for the cleaners. Very noisey until all hours. Some warning would have been nice. Don't forget anything in your room. You will never see it again !!

Standard living for basic price - lots of noise and very little room service even clean sheets I had to ask for. Paid for. Breakfast and was given a bowl with a box of muesli in it that cost $8 a day so cancelled that for an extra night as my family were staying up the road.

We stayed here before and after our tour to the Kakadu. The first room we got, the whole bathroom had black mould patches everywhere. It was disgusting. There was no hot water in the shower even after running for 10 mins. The pillows had a horrible odour as did the room and aircon unit. We requested a quiet room upon booking months in advance but were given a room facing the main strip and all the pubs and bars that blast loud band music til 2-3am every night. Our second room was cleaner but still faced the strip and it was impossible to sleep well. We didn't bother complaining as all the staff we encountered didn't seem to care and were not friendly at all - polite maybe, but not customer service orientated. This place is a low quality backpacker hostel at best. Stay at your own risk.

After a long trip from Alice Springs it was a welcome relief to have the creature comforts offered here Also its positioned in the heart of the action district with lots happening Feeling safe , as the fire alarm was set off in the middle of the night and staff were prompt with getting everyone to safety.. .. a bit of unexpected excitement !

We booked to stay for 9 nights, the first night we were there, we had no hot water, we told reception and they said they would look into it, the second night still no hot water, again we went to reception, and was told again will get maintenance onto it, we were out for the day, and again still no hot water, the third time we talked to them, the said try having shower earlier, which I thought was unacceptable. The next day still no hot water,I know it is a budget hotel, but for the price I paid per night, I expect to have hot showers,We checked out on day 3, and changed hotels. Very disappointed.

This place is right in the centre of town bestled in between backpackers and bars. If you want to keep it quiet shut the windows. We had, finally, awesome customer service from the two lovely ladies on the front desk. They couldn't do enough to help us. The beds were comfy and everything you need packed into the room. You can use the laundry next door which is handy. The only downside to our stay was a 2am wake up call with a fire alarm so all the guests got to stand outside in our PJs while the fire brigade checked the building. At least we know the alarms work!

I travel all the time for work, and decided that for fun I'd test the cheapest places I could find. This is the cheapest (except backpackers) in central Darwin. Central is the word. Right on Mitchell street. Perfect location. Secure parking (although limited). Yes the rooms are TINY, but they are big enough for 3 people to sleep, have showers, watch TV and have a coffee or a beer from the fridge (byo). Honestly, the clientele are varied in appearance from business people to druggies, but my room is safe, clean and cheap. Can't complain!
