We stayed here on a Saturday night as we were driving home from our Florida Keys vacation. I actually picked this hotel based on the reviews on here. We were pulling a 25' boat and had ample parking! The lady on the phone was kind and check in was easy - she put us in a spot where we could see our boat out the window since we had kayaks in it too. The rooms was clean - I think all hotels need to work on there "finish and deep cleaning" and this hotel is no exception but it was overall very clean. The beds were wonderful and plenty of pillows. Everything worked in the room without issue. The staff here is simply amazing, their customer service and friendliness is phenomenal! We didn't need anything really but anytime we went by the desk, asked a question or needed a little thing - they were smiling/happy to help and just overall pleasant. The breakfast was excellent! Great variety - pancakes, sausage, biscuits, gravy, cereal, muffin, bagels, yogurt, fruit and more - this was great and adds into the value not having to spend more on the drive to feed 4 people. We would stay here again. Cost was competitive.

The hotel is beautiful, and the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The ladies at the front desk are very helpful! Restaurants are close with a very easy drive to reach. Highly recommend! Great stay!

Holiday Inn Expresses are a crap shoot. Many are nice but by the book. Think cramped rooms unless you're traveling light, and formulaic breakfasts, with no surprises or extra amenities. Some are indifferently staffed, meagerly maintained, and downright unenjoyable. So we were not exactly tingling at the thought of staying in this one, especially as well pulled in and discovered that it was right next door to a Hilton Garden Inn, which is often a slight cut above with an individually cooked breakfast to boot. Arrival envy set in. But then, like some beam of light with background harp music, we walked in and beheld the most unexpected sight: a gigantic, beautifully appointed lobby, a smiling night clerk eager to assist, and four large luggage carts -- a huge bonus any time we see them, given the surfeit of stuff we have to unload. Things got even better during our stay. I made a list, as I often do, and when you get to the end of it, you may well not find a single nit or nag about this fine property. Here goes: -- A renovation that went beyond the cosmetic, beyond new curtains and modern sculptures in the elevator lobbies and decent prints on the walls. Creature comforts were carefully considered and provided for, including excellent glass-enclosed showers with fine fixtures, cubbyholes for parcels such as backpacks in the rooms, hard floors in the lobby and hallways to make rolling the carts a snap, larger-than-normal mini-fridges, and a separate sink area not associated with makeup and shaving etc. The last place came in handy for such things as cutting and rinsing Georgia's renowned peaches. -- breakfasts that are better than your average bear. Not chef quality, but at least everything is fresh, there are such offerings as oranges, bananas, and yogurt, the tables are large, the music only minimally annoying since it's soft and instrumental, and the TV set on the helpful Weather Channel instead of a nauseating game show or politically charged right- or left-wing cable news show. Peaceful and satisfying overall, in other words. -- the hotel is very close to I-75 and what passes for downtown Dalton. -- there's a large porte cochere (not part of the renovation; it was already there, but it's important if you're pulling in late during a typical Georgia late-day thunderstorm). -- the queen beds are fat and plush and comfy, and if you (like us) appreciate an extra blanket, the ones brought to you from the front desk are comforter quality, not the thin and scratchy and useless variety offered at many chain motels. -- there's not only the usual bedside lamp but also little goose-neck reading lights for each person, a blessing when one wants to hit the hay and the other can't put a book down. -- the a/c worked as prescribed, unusual in many mid-range hotel rooms. -- people seemed to be enjoying the large indoor pool, and there's a small, covered patio just outside the breakfast room. -- every single staff person exuded helpfulness and a cheery attitude, a good reflection on the people who hired them. -- ok, one nit to close: There's a nice couch with a huge coffee table in the room, perfect for my (and your) computer work -- but absolutely no couchside lamp to throw some extra light. Would have liked to have one, but as you can see, I managed to write all this without it. All in all, a triumph for those who orchestrated the renovation and a great guest experience.

Only stayed one night. We own a bed and breakfast in Swainsboro GA so I am picky and know what I want. We picked this hotel because of their reviews (TripAdvisor ROCKS!) and we were not disappointed. Lauren and Liz were FANTASTIC! Both were warm and personable in their own way and they had everything well under control at that front desk. The room was clean and exactly what we expected. Breakfast was delivered hot and fresh. This is one of the better priced hotels worth staying in and they exceeded expectations. While the hotel was certainly the anchor of our stay, Lauren and Liz were two unintended--yet wonderful--plus ups of the trip. On a front desk that is laden with customer service demands and even demands from those who are unpleasant and even sometimes rude, they were very charming to every person! They should be commended for what they are doing to support the hotel's customer service objectives.

I called to see if they had a room available at 2am. Gentleman on the phone was very nice and helpful. Once arrived front desk staff was Jose, he was very friendly and courteous. ( he was one I spoke with on the phone). This hotel is very beautiful, newly renovated. My room was very clean and spacious. Comfortable beds. I was concerned we would get woke up early in the morning from the usual hallway noise. We did not!!!! Was able to sleep in. It was very peaceful. Beautiful patio, and breakfast area. It was pricey but worth it. The lady at check out was very friendly as well. Did not catch her name. If ever passing through Dalton again this will be my first choice for a hotel.

One of the outstanding features of this hotel is the warm, welcoming, friendly front staff. We had very positive experiences at the front desk, as well as with the lady who prepared the breakfast buffet. They were great. The rooms are clean and comfortable and there are NO pets on the premises. Yay! BUT the rooms are not quiet. Doors started slamming in the hallway around 4am, really loudly, and it was continuous for several hours. There is no fan or white noise of any kind near the door, which would really help.

Worth the extra cost to stay here. Beautiful furnishings, large spacious rooms, soft comfortable beds. Friendly staff who go the extra mile to make your stay memorable. Your comfort is their number one priority. Great breakfast included. Close to the interstate, gas stations and restaurants

I had a pleasant business stay at this hotel in Dalton, GA. This is a newer hotel .. the desk clerk said less than 5 years old. Good location off I-75. Upgraded to larger executive size room with couch. Plenty of electrical outlets. Large mini fridge and micro. Modern bathroom with deep sink. Plenty of towels ... hot water and water pressure was good. As far a "cons" go: ---could not see TV from desk I had to pull desk out into center of room. The desk was on wheels, so that was fine. ---Lighting was "odd" ... kind of retro .. but okay. I would stay here again. : -)

We were on the way home, tired after three days on the road. Decided to break the trip so as to arrive home rested. Great decision since the HI Express was clean, convenient, quiet, well staffed. Hotel is like new even though it is five years old.

We have stayed here 3 times now on our way to Florida. Right off the highway exit. Several restaurants near by. The staff is polite and very helpful. Breakfast bar very tasty with a good variety of choices. Very clean rooms and lobby areas. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, I slept really well.
