Stopped here on our way out of Orlando. Dalton was the first town we could find a hotel. This hotel SEEMED reasonably priced online. Once we got there we found out fast how much we overpaid. The toilet would take 6-8 minutes before you could flush it again, the bathroom door was broken and would not close all the way or lock. The sick was clogged and would not drain. The beds were not very nice and you could feel springs. The shower head was also clogged. The breakfast was minimal, eggos and oatmeal creme pies there was coffee but no real creamer. I would expect this out of a hotel that cost $50 a night, but after taxes we paid $100, and it was truly a rip off. The owners should put some money into the place, take some pride in it. Lesson learned, we'll spend an extra $20 next time and stay at a courtyard or Hampton inn.
Booked a queen smoking and upon check in had to be switched due to 1st room having HAIRS all over the bed with wrinkled sheets, and most lamps not working. 2nd room was non smoking and the TV did not work. Next morning get placed in a smoking room with no ash tray!! Ask for more towels and get told NO. WiFi sacked. The front desk man over night tried saying that all was okay because they put us in a room with 2 beds even though we only needed 1. Very rude staff. And to top it all off they do not have alarm clocks in the rooms so we slept through breakfast in the lobby. If you do book here careful in the parking lots not much room and you may hit or get hit with the other vehicles or semis. Biggest joke of a hotel ever!
The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. It is close to I 75. We looked att he breakfast and went to Waffle House next door. Really not much except coffee and cereal. The web site said checkin was at 10 AM, but when we got there the desk clerk said it was something like 3 PM. We wanted a place to leave luggage and he checked us in early. no complaints at all about the staff or the motel. i would stay there again. it is a no frills place but is worth the money.I recommend it as an economical place to stay with no problems
Its suck if you rent a motel room here cause you cant have no vistor If you do have vistor you would be charge for it .if i even pull up pick my friend i get in trouble i think i go to another motel to stay i never rent a room at this motel i take my money some where else
I guess after all of the driving we did and the lack of hotels available for the night we were traveling, we should be grateful we got a room.... With the volume of people that needed a room, check-in was about 25 minutes with only one person at the front desk. This place was extremely inexpensive, a plus, but you could see why. Very outdated........Seemed clean except for the pink stains (bleach, hopefully) on the light blue sheets. Beds not very comfortable at all. Fridge in the room nice. Quiet place except for the loudly chirping birds..at 2:00 AM. Continental breakfast was sweet rolls and microwaveable waffles.
Rooms are clean. Bed too soft for me. Room is quiet. Cost was 60. Breakfast was either an oatmeal cookie or a honey bun out of a vending machine lol. Two cereals or toast. Coffee in to go cup. Regular cable tv. This is an old place but I did sleep well. Front desk staff was nice.
Building is being renovated outside. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable. Refrigerator and microwave in room was nice feature. Breakfast was sub-par. Just cold cereal, bananas, and coffee. Night desk clerk, Peggy, extremely friendly and helpful. Would stay at this location again.
we were satisfied with a nice and clean room. very reasonable rates. a few mishaps: no way to release water from bath sink. and a couple light bulbs missing. but overall good place for overnight traveling.
My wife and granddaughter had the misfortune of having to stay here during a convention and no other accomodations were available. The place reeked and was filthy. The bedding, bath and room was atrocious. We made a point of advising the convention planner that this rag of a hotel should be singled out as the one place no one should stay at future conventions. They would have been better off driving to Chattanooga or sleeping in their car. Absolutely deplorable and it was obvious the staff (if you can call them that) could care less!
Stayed here to watch a relatives game and was in a hurry. Charged $70 for a $35-40 room max. Room was clean bathroom was ok TV was old. For that kind of money though I could have stayed in a nicer hotel if I had time.
