We needed a place to sleep between returning our rental car and flying out at 4.30 AM the next day. This hotel fit the bill. Could use some updating but was perfectly fine, although not fancy. Staff was nice and shuttle to airport a big plus!
First off, even though I called in the morning to confirm my room (which I booked a month in advance), when I got there, they told me the had no rooms left. They had overbooked and given away my room. After spending an hour in the lobby trying to find another hotel to stay at last minute, the staff call me over to the desk. A room has magically appeared for me. I get up to the floor and try to find my room. There is no number plate, just the room number written in pencil. The room reeks of smoke, even though the entire hotel is non-smoking. The beds are sleep number beds, but the remote for the bed is nowhere to be found. In the morning, I went up to the front desk and they were able to switch out the room. The second room looked much better and had no smell of smoke. The beds were still sleep number and the remotes were there, but the remotes didn't work.
Amenities were very poor. Air conditioning did not work (Texas is hot). No attractions close by. Stay only if you have too!
This hotel is in need of improvement. The elevator quit working (we were on the 11th floor). We had to take the service elevator. The coffee maker didn't work until I fixed it. It leaked hot water all over its tray. The tubing inside was not connected. We had to call twice for towels and toilet paper. The sink faucet leaked at the top of the vanity and got everything wet. However, the staff was friendly and cooperative.
The front desk staff were very friendly! The hotel was outdated and the location didn't seem like the greatest
We are not happy, dirty carpet, bad smell from corridoor
It was horrible couldn't sleep at night!! The bed was not a bed it was so uncomfortable never be back again!!
We had to book a room in Dallas secondary to the weather and tried to cancel our stay in Austin but were unable to do so.
I was very unsatisfied with this venture. When I first walked in I was greeted very well. staff was friendly but, there were a couple in the lobby as well that looked very suspicous. I'm not one to judge but this place seemed like it was some sort of brothel..... To make matters worse, I arrived a couple hours early and decided that I would try and check in early. unfortunately, I wasn't able to and had to call for a cab and head downtown with luggage in hand. I returned later to check in, around 9pm and the same couple from earlier that day was still in the lobby!! Really!! you want people to use your facilities and you have people that look like they are on drugs hanging around your facilities and in your lobby? I proceeded to check in and went to my room which was supposed to be a king with a city view. I got a double queen with a view of the other side of the hotel. Not surprised... Also, they only had one elevator working and the other had caution tape on it. The halls were dark and dirty, the place smelled old. Could use some new paint and carpet and more lighting. It seemed like you were walking into some old run down building, I was just waiting for someone to jump out. Got to my room and made sure everything was locked up securely and slept with one eye open!!!! I would not recommend this place to anyone!!! Be warned and stay away...I expected more from a Radisson...
It doesn't seem like this place has been updated since it opened. The halls are pretty gross and one elevator doesn't work. The room itself wasn't too bad. It had a really old sleep number bed in it.
They couldn't find my reservation when I arrived. Inside has peeling paint, 1of 2 elevators not working. Ants in my room. TV not working. Called to tell the front desk. No answer! Had to go down to ask to get it replaced. It was clean. Bed was comfortable. But not a great place.
Great hotel very nice staff.rooms were clean.location was great. We were close to our destination. There were plenty of attractions and places to eat within 5 miles or less. We would definitely stay again. Thank you job well done.
This hotel is in desperate need of an overhaul. The hallways and my room smelled like stale cigarettes. There is mold in the shower tile. The carpet was dirty. I was only there for 1 night for business so it was fine but would not stay longer. Beds were comfortable on a plus side.
I went to Dallas to have a farewell trip. My last weekend in Texas so I wanted to have fun. The malls were great and the bars were ok didn't know exactly where to go for a great time but the Uber drivers helped. The hotel looked run down from the outside but I guess they're renovating the rooms were good also had sleep number beds. They just need to get flat screen TVs and better shower heads. Maybe recommendations for night life. Or day life. Anything really they're right in the heart.
The hotel was very cheap, which was nice. However, the price definitely reflected in the building. One elevator was down and had yellow caution tape covering it all over. The one elevator that worked was alright. When I got off on the floor, the upkeep of the building was bad. Walls looked damaged, the carpet was old and had stains. The room doors were dirty and old and clearly needed paint. Inside the room was about the same. The TV was an old tube TV, the cable port was damaged, carpet was dirty, bathroom towel rack was coming off. The beds were comfortable, Sleep Number beds, which was nice. Honestly other than the bed and the price, it wasn't a nice hotel. They just need to put some TLC into it, new carpets and paint go a long way
Adequate parking, excellent location for us. Beds were select comfort type. Facility was dated but perfectly fine for our requirements.
The hotel was overbooked and we had to wait 5 hours for a room when they finally got us one, around midnight, it was already occupied. We complained a lot and they gave us another room which was pretty dirty.
It was very nice to get the opportunity not to worry about travel expense.
its kind of funny, but I read reviews while I stayed there.9/10/15-9/13/15. I didn't mind being out father than down town , it was great, use the rail all weekend. with asking, I got a room on the highest floor overlooking the skyline, Room was clean, bathroom was spotless, and my stay was quiet comfortable. Elevators were quick and available, the two cute reception girls at the front desk were very helpful and polite, although the ice machine on the 10th floor was not working, all in all I had a great stay, thanks Dallas for the weekend
love the atmosphere of the great people the fun times in the pool all this after parties L l
