Terrible urine dried on toilet musky odor dirty sheets total all over impression was the rooms don’t get cleaned properly wouldn’t recommend this motel for anybody

The room was very run down. No refrigerator, a very old Microwave, very small TV. Shower was old and stained. It needs a major upgrade. The continental breakfast was not useful for me.

Its a small hotel off the highway that serves its purpose. Having a dog, I was happy with the space I had to walk her. some staff was apathetic, while others went out of their way to help. The bed was comfortable but I could have done without the long black hairs on my "clean" towel. (btw I have very short blond hair). For the price, it wasn't bad and it was centrally located for my needs.

Hotel needs a desperate upgrade! Smoke detectors broke, sheets with holes, cockroaches, there was a pizza in the mini fridge from a previous guest!! Awful place !

Easy quick check in. Allowed me to check in early without a problem.

The Inn of Rockwall was OK; certainly not the worst ever but a bit disappointing. The king we reserved was not available, took 2 queens which were reasonably comfortable. The TV was tiny but we didn't have much time to watch so no big deal. The a/c unit only had one speed and couldn't keep up with the hot afternoon sun. Fine during night. The "breakfast" was probably the biggest disappointment--2 kinds of cold cereal, instant oatmeal but I couldn't find hot water and no one at the desk to ask. No fruit, no donuts or sweet rolls; coffee was pretty bad and no tables to sit. I understand it was the lowest price, but they could have done better. For pete's sake, sweep up the dead bugs in the bathroom!

We arrived late at night and Both Full size beds were sagging in the middle. A/C did not keep the room cool and the highway noise was very loud. My husband has a bad knee and back so going upstairs to the room was difficult. He ended up sleeping on the floor on a camping pad and sleeping bag we had with us. When I tried to cancel the rest of our stay I was told by management that since I booked thru Orbitz I was out of luck. We ended up paying for two motels room since I booked at another motel after deciding we could not stay another night.

The room definitely had good and bad. The good points were the bed was clean and comfortable. The microwave worked and was clean. The bad points were the door jam was on top of the hanging bar for the clothes so it was very loud from the traffic noise. The ceiling tiles and door in the bathroom were in very bad shape. I didn’t pay much so I guess you get what you pay for. Staff was not friendly and were very cold and borderline rude. I’m a very pleasant woman so I just smiled and thanked them. There were other guests that were loud and at one point a women yelled out, “let me in or I’ll call the cops!” Then a little later I looked out the window and she was laying on the landing of the stairs and then man she was with had to carry her limp body up to the room which was right next to mine. I didn’t hear anything out of order but I sure would have felt more comfortable if I had brought my hand gun with me.

When we entered our room, part of the ceiling had fallen into the bathtub, so we were changed to another room (with a bullet hole in the outside door) and had to wait several hours for a set of towels. The next day, after the room was cleaned, we had to wait again for towels, and the toilet was not clean.

If you don't need wifi and don't mind loud traffic you are in the right hotel. The outside is not lid up and scary dark in the morning. The location is ok and near anything one could need. The price is to high for what it is

New appliances. Confortable. Friendly staff. location Is good. Not too far from lake. Good price

Maybe if the staff could communicate better it would have helped. Cleanliness is very important to us. Everything seemed dingy & dirty. Lobby was unkempt & breakfast was the smallest we have ever seen. We will not be returning. We come to Texas frequently because family lives there, we will be choosing a Hotel next time. No more Motels.
