Stayed here as it was close by Lakepoint, offers complimentary breakfast and good service. Hotel is clean and has several restaraunts within walking distance. The room was outdated, but overall good value especially as I arrived late and early check out was not in room to long.
Moldy room, clogged sink took three days to fix, management did not seem to care. Cleanliness did not seem to be a priority. Interaction with the manager was not appealing he did not seem to care about the issues we experienced.
Located just off of I-30 in Rockwall, the Hampton Inn is conveniently close to restaurants, stores, and provides everything a traveler could need. Comfy beds. A good-sized fridge (with a small freezer) and microwave in the room are great for saving money on meals. New flat screen TV's with good satellite stations. Really complete hot breakfast in the lobby.
Stayed here one night while visiting friends nearby. We arrived at 2:30 and our room showed as dirty. The desk clerk asked us to take a seat while he checked on the room. We barely sat down when he came over to let us know our room was ready. Check-in and check-out were both a breeze. The hotel and our room were spotless and in like-new condition. The bathroom was very nice, and included a tub-size walk-in shower with a glass door. I found this nicer than the typical tub and shower curtain. Complimentary internet service was very good. The breakfast buffet had many choices, including hot entrees and a good selection of fresh fruit. The hotel is conveniently located along I-30 and there are several good restaurants at the same exit.
Easy to find location, quiet rooms, great staff, free breakfast, and close to a Starbucks. Wonderful hotel and city. Came to visit my sister and ending up buying a home here. Will stay here again when I close on my home!
We were traveling after visiting Waco for the day and would be heading out of the Dallas area the next day. The room was clean and comfortable with a large bathroom and shower. The staff was personable and helpful. The pillows and bed were exceptionally comfortable. Close to restaurants, shopping, and movies. Nice stay.
If you are looking for a relaxing weekend and a comfortable night stay, go to the Hilton up the road. The quality of the rooms are horrible, odor and pest issues overpower everything. We were not pleased with the room or the breakfast.
A very good place to stay in Rockwall. The breakfast was good and the coffee excellent. The staff is friendly and accommodating. We didn't want a big, busy hotel and this was perfect for our stay. We will return!
Once you actually get in your room, it's great! Good breakfast, comfy beds, nice and quiet The check in process has been a 15+ minute pain both times we have stayed here. That was after checking in online!
The room I got was a huge room, but the layout wasn’t the best. The bed was on one wall and the couch was on the opposite wall. The TV was located on a side wall between couch and Bed. The TV could be turned a little either way, but neither had a good viewing angle. The room was nice, clean, and had good amenities. Instead of a tub, the bathroom had a walk in shower with glass doors. The mouthwash was a nice touch too. Breakfast was buffet style with hot foods, but was typical hotel breakfast: scrambled eggs, potatoes, make your own waffles and some danishes. Over all nice hotel.
