When we came in to check in, the hotel had a very un pleasant smell, I think it was the vacuum cleaner being used when we arrived, other than that, this hotel is located in a great location, with nearby shops and restaurants, and is right on the freeway I-30 and cockrell hill exit

When we arrived there was no internet so no TV. 100 degrees outside so wasn’t planning on being outside all day. Hair was all over the bathroom floor. So not sure if they used a dirty mop or what.

I don’t usually do reviews but my room was pretty gross. Not only were there tons of nasty looking stains all over the carpet, but the floors in general were simply dirty. The bathroom was pretty gross as well. The shower Curtain was stained, the caulking in the tub looked like it was done by a child, nearly everything in the bathroom was peeling, it was simply gross. The staff was unprofessional. The female manager who was often at the desk seemed to have a bad attitude. I went to purchase some drinks from the shop and stood waiting while she had a long conversation with someone from housekeeping.. it was in Spanish but they were giggling, and when I approached the desk she held up her finger for me to wait (which is fine), but continued to have her long conversation with housekeeping. When she was done, she turned to me and seemed annoyed and said “yes?” It just seemed really unprofessional. The pros: the lobby was clean, the bed was comfy

Nice clean & comfy room

Comfortable stay for one night. Bed & pillows were very comfy and once we figured out what was going on with the a/c the room stayed nice & cool. The blinds made the room very dark. Breakfast was decent with a pretty good variety of items to choose from. The staff were very nice.

Overall this property has generally been kept up. However here and there were some signs of disrepair. The most glaring example in our room was the tub faucet. The diverter stem on the faucet was very hard to pull up to turn the shower on. The faucet itself was loose and felt like it was going to come off the wall. The inside of the toilet had been cleaned, but still had old stains that had set in. But the employees seemed to do a good job of keeping the property clean. The indoor pool area was nice and my kids enjoyed their time swimming.
