I was very impressed with this stay.The host has a guide book to show you how to work the different amenities around the property, it shows neighboring attractions, lists emergency contacts and provides detailed check out instructions. Everything was stocked nicely and clean. The property slept 6 adults comfortable with two additional beds we did not use. The neighborhood was quiet and clean, and uber deliveries for food a drinks arrived within 30 minutes of ordering. There’s a Walmart 5 minutes from the property which we found extremely convenient for travel items and snacks. The lake view in the back of the house is breathtaking, and the outdoors area with the grill is exactly as pictured. We weren’t able to use the grill because there wasn’t any propane, but that did not have any impact on our overall experience with this property.

Overall we made the place work for our one night stay because we are a pretty low maintenance group. But a number of issues with the house held back its potential to be a memorable stay. Hot water wasn’t working throughout the house. It got Luke warm at best. The oven and stove situation was difficult to navigate. Oven display doesn’t work correctly so it’s hard to identify temp. Stove top is an electric set up and the buttons do not work very well especially while trying to cook. Not really enough seating for our group of 6. House is advertised to be able to host more than our group size. But seating def wouldn’t be available for that. Outdoor kitchen area is basically useless. Hasn’t been maintained well at all and is practically unusable. Best part about our stay was the beds were comfortable. Everything else was not great.

We were a little disappointed

Property wasn’t too bad. The outdoor furniture looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The chairs had bird poop on them The outdoor grill wasn’t clean, there wasn’t any propane for the grill the. The outdoor kitchen all in all looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned or maybe even used in a long time. They had a blackstone grill also and it was all rusted. The inside of the house was clean except the dishwasher had some brown junk in the detergent holder and smelled so we didn’t even use it and just washed all dishes by hand. The beds were comfortable and nice. The house said it could sleep 12 people but only had a couch and a small bench for sitting. The kitchen only had enough chairs for 4 people. All in all wasn’t too bad but don’t think I would book there again. Also there was food in fridge and in the freezer. Not sure if it was from previous renter or if owners.

A Very Nice Stay

This property was spacious, clean, and close to our event location (AT&T Stadium). We had to travel with our three little Dachshunds, so we greatly appreciated small pets being allowed and the fenced-in backyard. The neighborhood seemed quiet and was close to some restaurants, which made snagging food easy. Communications with the owner were prompt, respectful, and helpful. We had a quick and problem-free stay. Thanks so much! :)

Scam artist!

Where do I start. Just don’t ever book here. This was the worst experience ever. The host is the worst person ever. He’s a scam artist. Vrbo app is fraud as well.. the host don’t communicate properly, only communicate to collect money. I had to force Vrbo to make the host cancel my reservation after dealing with this scam artist for days. Would not issue a refund. Don’t provide any type of communication after we agreed to communicate directly outside of the app. All is can say is please save yourself the anger and headache and don’t book here. Broke down cars in the driveway, yard looked terrible. I had to literally call and text this guy over 100 times just for communication. DONT BOOK HERE, it’s a scam. This host should not be allowed to host. As you can see, I can go on and on about this experience but my anxiety is back up just typing this. Don’t book here. By the way I never received check in information until I had to contact Vrbo. DON’T BOOK HERE. Scam, scam, and fraud. This guy tries to act differently from the Vrbo app to make himself look legit but dealing with him directly through his personal info was were he was unprofessional. lol, this is a scam. Do your reasearch on this fraud.

Great hidden gem & good price

Clean property with pool table & everything you need pretty much in a house stay. Looks like the house keeper, (maybe owner?), stays right next store in a small converted house shed; but we liked that as it made us feel more safe if issues were to arise. House is located in a very quiet cul-de-sac & the neighborhood seems decent enough for Grand Prairie. The house isnt perfect but its very clean & affordable...thumbs up!
