Booked a king size bed and was given a double queen. The room smelled like absolute mold and musty. Dead cockroach in the tub and live one crawling around in bathroom. Shower curtain looks disgusting. Stuck pieces of hard candy on carpet. You can’t connect the tv to the WiFi to stream anything. And the toilet barely flushed. I was told I would be refunded my final night but I have not been.

The room was clean but the hallways could have been cleaner. The last day there were ants in my room although I didn’t have a drop of food in the room. Only one bar of soap and no soap holder in shower. They should put up dispensers. The room was dark and the vinyl chairs were badly cracked. The walls need painting. It’s an inexpensive hotel but was very convenient for my visit. I saw one lady carrying out a huge bag of food one morning- she reminded me of a homeless person. There was a pile of luggage in a corner of the hotel that was there during my 3 day stay. It was the same luggage all 3 days.

Do not take your children here! Questionable clientele and visitors. Smelled pot at front desk upon arrival. Too late at night to find another hotel. Tub and tiles in shower damaged/missing. Tub was stained gray with dried white paint/plaster in it. Lamps broken. On/off switches did not work. Broken bulbs in lamps. TV did not work. Furniture held together with tape. Sheets stained brown. Based on the condition of the hotel and other observations we didn’t dare eat the free buffet breakfast. We couldn’t get out fast enough the next morning. We canceled our reservation for the following night and ended up making reservations at a Drury Hotel which was fantastic and I highly recommend.

We had not even checked into the room when another customer was checking out without staying due to roach infestation. This is the second time I’ve tried to stay at a Baymont and the smell and suspicious activity prevented us from staying.
