Nice hotel in safe place. Many restaurants , mall and theater close by.

Great hotel- great staff and great rooms.. If you don't mind being in a part of Plano that will be developed in 3-5 years.. Very close to tollways and easy access. I would stay here again.. But have to drive 2 miles to get to a Starbucks..

The hotel was clean room was clean. I ha e no complaints great value for the money

The staff are really cool at tis hip hotel. Totally modern in a very cool area of Plano near the legacy strip. Hotel was clean and nice. The staff seemed to work 14 hour shifts but the still greeted everyone and said goodbye to all. The bartender was very helpful and very good looking!

Perfect location for business in Plano and not far from everything else. What a friendly, nice place with great amenities. I'd definitely stay there again.

Great hotel. Nice people. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. It started to storm and I could barely hear the weather so I could sleep soundly.

This was our first stay with Aloft, so we really didn't know what to expect. After this stay, we'll definitely stay there again. The people at the front desk were warm, welcoming, and efficient. The rooms were clean and attractive, with a definite modern flair. The location was very easy to access from the Dallas North Tollway. The food bar made it easy to grab a quick breakfast. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. Any negatives? Not really, other than picky little things. A time or two during the evening, loud vehicles nearby made a little racket, but then that's going to happen when you're next to the Tollway. There was a way to order a hot breakfast at the food bar and I wasn't quite sure how to do it, but then I didn't try hard or ask anyone. Neither of these things bothered us at all. If you're after a swanky, pampering hotel, this might not be your place, but then that's not what we were after anyway. It's a beautiful new hotel with a great modern feeling, and it's available at great prices. We definitely recommend it!

Overall The Aloft is a nice hotel in this price point. The rooms are smaller than what I would have preferred. However, the room was clean and comfortable. The staff was attentive and quickly moved us when a family with a small child moved into the room next to us. The W XYZ Bar was great for a quick cocktail before we went out for our NYE evening.

Aloft now has almost 100 hotels all across the world. They have a casual upbeat atmosphere (neon accents, concrete floors, open concept lobby with bar and fireplace) and very functional rooms (desk with a window and outlets, mediaplug in for TV monitor, large easy access shower.) Fitness center is also above average, not just a crowded extra hotel room. My wife calls it a "guys" hotel, which I think is a compliment. If you have stayed at an Aloft before you know exactly what to expect right down to the floor plan. If you have not stayed at a Aloft before it is fun change. Good location, but on the other side of the toll road from most West Plano offices and shops. Long walk or quick bike ride is possible. Shuttle is available.

Aloft has a very modern, minimalistic look -- sealed concrete floors, concrete ceilings, and little art on the walls. I guess it keeps the old folks and the kids away. There was no place to walk to from this hotel, except a corn field. Breakfast was NOT included, the food prices were no better than those at a coffee shop. For this hotel being so far from civilization, I would have preferred to have breakfast included.

Handicapped rooms have platform beds, no clearance for Hoyer lift legs. Be forewarned or bring some bricks to lift the bed corners 4" off the ground.

Not for your average family! More hip hop than I thought! But very friendly and modern .

The hotel was great, very very comfortable bed. The staff was excellent very polite and helpful. The hotel lobby was great. Very positive stay

very efficient and friendly staff, clean - easy in and out. We feel safe here and it is the place my wife stays with our kids when I am not accompanying them and that alone is worthy of mention.

Checked in at aloft Plano the day before a major ice storm. The staff at the hotel could not have been more accommodating - and I believe several of the spent the night in the hotel due to road closures to ensure that the guests were accommodated. The hotel is a minimal amenity hotel (no restaurant on site, no gym) but there is a shuttle which will take you anywhere - as long as he roads are open- so there would have normally been plenty of other foods options. Touche to the management and staff for handling snowed in travelers.

Nice hotel with cool European feel. Comfortable with nothing fancy!

It was a refreshing experience to stay at Aloft. The atmosphere is uplifting and I so appreciated the opportunity to stay somewhere that was not the same old stuffy hotel feel. I did not realize they had a gym and didn't understand how housekeeping worked, so perhaps a list of how things work would make sense since the room did not have the standard hotel book. I travel to Dallas often and will stay here again.

I absolutely loved my hotel stay. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were unique and very comfortable. The hotel atmosphere was like nothing I've ever experienced in any other hotel. I will definitely being coming back to the Aloft Hotel, again!

My husband and I LOVED the Aloft hotel. The next time we visit Dallas, we will be sure to stay there again! It's a unique hotel with great staff! We will recommend it to everyone that we know!

I was impressed with the hipster vibe and cute colors. I loved that they had a pool table in the lounge area. I don't drink but the bar was cute too. The only issue I had was that the kleenex wasn't refreshed. They folded the last tissue on the top and there wasn't anything in the box. Lord knows how many other germy people used it before me. Eck!
