The rooms and amenities are first class the staff are extremely friendly and helpfull witha special thanks to Lucy, Vinn and King for the special treament they afforded us during our stay. We were here the same time last year and on both occasions we have had the best time. Andy Phan you have done a magnificent job with the staff and resort and should be proud of all their efforts.
This resort is breathtaking . We had all inclusive booking with breakfast / dinner / massage and a daily cocktail. The pool area is stunning and the beach is clean and picturesque. Great service from staff and convenient to get to Hoi An and Da Nang town centre . The rooms are super spacious and clean. The food buffet was great and lots of choices from Asian and European selection. The only suggestion would be to further train the masseuse as they were inconsistent with their techniques. Overall the best resort we have been too !
8 nights in a 3 bedroom private villa with pool. Accommodation was truly excellent, very spacious and very well suited to a family stay. Our villa had 3 large bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, a full kitchen and had excellent media connectivity. Only thing missing that would have been useful is a washing machine. The resort itself was immaculately maintained in an beautiful setting around 15 mins out of Da Nanag by taxi. Food offerings from the main restaurant was buffet and very Korean/Asian food focused which is not really surprising. The food was okay but a little repetitive with the same dishes appearing every few days. Needs to be hotter as most food was luke warm. There is also The Oriental restaurant which you can try for more authentic Vietnamese food a-la-carte. The pool bar and food offerings were the only real letdown. The food served here was well below average, as were the cocktails and the less than attentive service. Pizza's ordered were terrible, with awful base and way too much cheese. Thinks supermarket plain pack 99 cent pizza then add 1/2 kg of cheese on top. The Banh Mi had to go back 3 times as was simply missing most of the ingredients and was still poor. Really not sure how you can get a national style dish wrong 3+ times and is at complete ods with ones ordered through room service or atbthe main restaurant which were perfect. Overall, if you are looking for a resort to accommodate 4 adults and 2 kids or a big family, hard to go past this one.
This hotel is perfection in every way. The staff are charming and friendly, and bend over backwards to help with every request. We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa with a private pool. The accommodation is very spacious and immaculate. Fully appointed too if you wish to dine in. A golf buggy is available at all ones to bring guests from the villas to the main hotel, though it’s also only a short walk. Hotel buffet was great with a wide range of options served by very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel pools and pool bar are fantastic, as is the lovely writer’s bar. Hotel grounds are impeccably well maintained. Our daughter was sick for 2 days - the hotel provided a nurse at no charge, and the manager sent her a fruit platter and get well card. We were also given good advice on hospital options if it was needed. They also went out of their way to provide a cake on her birthday which was an unexpected and lovely addition to her day. This hotel is faultless and exceeded our expectations in every way.
From the first moment of being picked up from the airport by our resort transfer we felt like royalty. Pulling up at this beautiful resort we were stunned and how huge it is and everything is beautiful. All the staff went above and beyond, remembered us by name and were kind, friendly and great to be around. We had a 3 bedroom lagoon villa with private pool (travelling with 4 adults, 2 kids) and it was huge! All our tours, shuttle buses and even taxis were organised for us and nothing was too much trouble. Life guards every day at each pool and the beach are friendly, kind and helpful. The spa is amazing and we all enjoyed massages, spa pedicures and spa manicures. The Vietnamese cooking class was lots of fun and delicious! Special shout out to Lucy for being the loveliest and most helpful person in guest services, we will miss you! Also special shout out to 2 of the resort lifesavers Minh & Anh who took special time each day to play with my little boy, teach him things and have a chat and laugh, he adored spending time with them both each day and is very upset to be going home, you both made my little boys holiday the best. We are leaving the resort this morning after our 8 night luxury escapes package plus an extended 2 nights as we didn’t want to go home! We don’t want to leave!
The property is beautiful, rooms are spacious and well maintained, landscaping and pools are fabulous, buffet is excellent, people are warm and friendly and very helpful, location close to Hoi An historic village, and not far from Hai Van pass. Way more peaceful than downtown Da Nang, and about a $6 ride from the restaurants in Dan Nang if you want alternative eating places.
From the moment we booked with them, I knew we would be looked after. The team at Vinpearl are professional, kind, friendly and make the effort to be bilingual in English. Be mindful, we're visiting their country so really, us 'westerners' should really be making the effort to learn their language rather than demanding they understand us. They arranged our transfers swiftly via email and the lovely hostess picked us up without a glitch even offering to carry our luggage (four large sized suitcases and a mountain buggy pram). Friendly and helpful driver drove safely through the madness of Vietnam traffic and upon arrival, we were checked in, enjoying a refreshing welcome drink admiring the pool/ocean views. Phat explained everything to us and answered our questions giving us peace of mind. The villa we were staying in is STUNNING and spacious. We felt like royalty as though this is how a holiday should feel like. Travelling with two elderly parents and a ten month old, this resort makes the PERFECT family holiday. The rooms are large, the ensuites are luxurious, the high ceilings are well designed to keep the heat at bay. Every room has air conditioning and the master bedroom and living room opens out to your own private pool. Definitely worth spending the extra money to have as it was convenient to have a swim with our baby and put him back to sleep according to his schedule. The buggy service back to the lobby, spa or restaurants are always prompt and courteous. The walk is only about five minutes but walking in the humidity with a baby (and all their things) can be troublesome. The breakfast and dinner buffets always offered a huge variety catering to western, Japanese, and Korean tastes as well as their local cuisines. While we appreciate the thoughtfulness, we were content to eat their local dishes - I mean what's the point of going to a different country to eat only what you can have back at home?! They had delicious broths for pho as well as other noodle soup dishes from different regions. At dinnertime, there was the BBQ grill where we were fortunate to have lobster on three nights, and a great fresh supply of seafood. Yes there were kids around however they were always supervised from their parents (as they should be) as it's not the staff's responsibility to parent other people's children. We also had a Balinese massage and instantly felt relaxed in entering Akoya, The 60 minute long massage was calming, soothing and just what the doctor ordered. Had we stayed longer, we most definitely booked another massage. The location is about 20 minutes out from the city centre but just perfect for us flying in from the crazy hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh city. We were after an idyllic paradise and Vinpearl Luxury Da Nang, delivered. They have their own private beach with white sands and tropical lush gardens (which is immaculately maintained). For day trips, we took their shuttle into Hoi An and used grab taxi to Ba Na Hills (great going in later in the afternoon when it's not so hot, however once you're up there, it's MUCH cooler). The resort is modern, spacious and luxurious however the standout were truly their staff. Our 10 baby had a fever in the first two days (darn those anti-Malaria tablets) and they were empathetic and advised they have an on-site nurse at the resort. From the front house staff, the restaurant staff, the ground gardening staff and spa staff, we always felt genuinely welcomed. And with that, we left with a heavy heart but also one that is grateful for experiencing such beautiful hospitality. Safe to say, we'll be back.
Stayed in the 3 bedroom pool villa for 8 nights. Villa was big enough to House 10 ppl. The main pool and service was amazing and the nightly buffet was one of the best I’ve had (Lobsters and Foie Gras) Would definitely love to come again. Everything was just perfect
We just spent 6 nights at this Vin Pearl and have nothing but good things to say. The staff are pleasant and go out of their way to make sure your stay is pleasant. We took a shuttle from the hotel to Hoi An which was great and really a pretty little town. On returning the shuttle did not show up on time we contacted the hotel as they included their phone number on the shuttle ticket and they told us to take a taxi back so we would not have to wait for the shuttle to return, they would pay. When we got back to the hotel the met us at entrance and paid for the cab while apologising for the shuttle not being on time. Totally out of their control but totally took responsibility, refreshing. The breakfast and dinner buffets never the same menu in 6 days. We were always greeted with smiles and the food was amazing. The executive chef Brian and his team were at the top of their game every meal we had onsite. Enjoyed cooking, language, and lantern making classes. The pool and beach were perfect and sparkling clean. The grounds were immaculate and constantly maintained. If you are looking for a upscale resort experience take a hard look at the Vin Pearl Luxury Da Nang.
We had booked our stay through Luxury Escape, looking to relax after two weeks travelling through Vietnam & Cambodia. To start with the positive: The grounds of the hotel are amazing, the lawns were immaculate kept and the pools pristine in the morning. The staff are super friendly and go out of their way to help, although the English language is a problem for many. The room was spacious, loved the double sinks & big tub in the bathroom and the bed was super comfortable. Unfortunatley the breakfast and dinner buffet resembled a zoo, acutally an overcrowded zoo. It seems that this hotel is a chosen destiniation for family holidays, and there are plenty of kids of all ages everywhere. Although there is a dedicated Kids buffet, kids are helping themselves freely from the adult section and not only once have we wittneessed kids picking up food with fingers and then putting it back :( .The dinner BBQ buffet was a complete let down too, with undercooked seafood, chewy lamb and long queing times. Surely not what I expected from a "Luxury" holiday. We ended up going to restaurants outside of the hotel. In regards to the pools, there are five pools with one dedicated adults only pool, unfortunatley the hotel doesnt put up signs or enforces the adult only rule, so really no use. Overall we left feeling disappointed by our stay at the hotel and also Luxury Escape, who marketed the deal.
