If I could give this hotel zero stars I would have- what an AWFUL experience!
One- don’t expect to have normal things such as water- because in order to “clean” they keep their water turned off and you have to be lucky to shower or do anything in the 5 minute period they keep it on.
Two- although your room technically has “walls”, they must be made out of cardboard because you can hear everything going on around you as if they are right besides you. Baby’s screaming, dogs barking, reception with the TV way too loud. Wanna sleep in after a long hike? That’s gonna be a problem here in that with such huge windows the room has no curtains! So rise and shine with the sun.
Last but not least- they are in no way connected to Expedia. I paid through the Expedia app and when I arrived they informed me that they are now owed by Expedia for 6 customers and despite me already paying - this is somehow my problem that I have to pay again.
Every night I had to look forward to being their middle man with Expedia and finding out a way that I can only pay once for this god awful hotel.
As the altitude in Peru can give you a headache as is, save yourself the trouble and choose a different hotel.
