Lacks maintenance and improvement of the service

Loved the beach. The staff were great. Food was just ok.

Staff are great! Suzette waitress Oceana and Kenny the bartender. Lovely massage at the dpa from Joanna. Food is plentiful but so so. The omelette lady only cooks scrambled eggs with the mix. Fish tacos on the beach is probably best. AC in room isn’t very good and is very noisy. Doors are falling off cabinets, the facility looks really tired. Bar pool was disgusting, dirty, and slimy.

The outside and beach property was beautiful and clean. The room was old fashioned and disappointing to be owned by Hyatt. The pipe under the sink came apart. There wasn’t a microwave. The bathroom door was backwards and blocked the toilet when it was open. Sun Club extra cost was a waist (however after making a complaint they offered to refund the extra fee for the Sun Club).

My initial room wasn’t so pleasant as the AC wasn’t working well and the room wasn’t cleaned. Then the concierge (KR) overdid herself by making our experience so much greater. We got moved to a new room that had all our needs met. I overall enjoyed our stay and it was a decent place.

The best beach of anywhere I’ve stayed. The food in the restaurants was very good, the buffet was hit and miss, but you can always grab fish tacos for lunch by the beach and they were very good. The buffet room was often short on silverware and kind of a nuisance when trying to enjoy breakfast. The bartenders were super friendly. We were given the wrong room on arrival but when we told the front desk Xavier was very helpful and had us changed to a room that we paid for. The resort needs a little paint and power washing but the bed was comfy and we didn’t spend a lot of time in the hotel anyway. The snorkeling is fantastic and you don’t have to book an excursion to do it. It was an enjoyable stay

The food and service was bad. At times I had to serve coffee and water to myself by myself. I’ve definitely seen better food and service. The property needs an upgrade, very old looking. The entertainment stuff doesn’t make any efforts to put a few people together for soccer or volleyball games, etc....

The Beach and snorkeling is the best of any property we have stayed at. The staff is awesome! I think they have had some challenges during COVID. Staff was awesome, although seemed a bit overwhelmed in certain areas. Food had some really good options at times, but overall, acceptable. I would consider going back, price and total benefits outweigh the negatives.

The beach here is amazing! It’s big, lots of chairs with sun/shade. Water is clear and almost no waves. Good for snorkeling, lounging in the water. Rooms could use some updating but beds were very comfortable. Food is decent. Staff was all friendly. Lots of scheduled activities. Lots of pool space. Would return simply for the beach!

We love the beach, the sea and snorkeling. This is the best at this resort. The food is delicious and casino fun is on the spot. It is easy to go to the City and we can walk outside the Resort. The staff is very helpful and friendly. However, this property needs a lot of improvement in service and some renovation. There is very limited service in buffet and restaurants due to lack of staff, not enough beach lounges or chairs, not many umbrellas and not much food varietiy. We hope that management will improve service soon and we can come back to enjoy this beautiful place!

Gideon, Candyman, and Kyon made our stay an amazing stay. They made our time at sunscape an excellent experience. They are the best!!!

Very limited food choices, no fruits, fish only once in a blue moon. Personnel is very slow and not willing to do anything for the guests with few exceptions. Japanese restaurant is impossible to reserve. Music is extremely loud till 11 pm, no way to put a child to bed. The worst is the AC. It barely works. Rooms are hot. Definitely a very overpriced spot for the services they provide.

The view was beautiful. The food was sub-par and the same meals all 8 days we were there. They also could not seem to work out clean pool/beach towels. We were only able to trade in towels twice in 8 days.
