Very nice and kind gentleman with a very warm personality. He goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. THALIA makes check in a very nice and smooth experience. Renaissance was wonderful! Absolutely loved the location since we’d walk every night to dinner, etc. So close to everything. Didn’t mind that it didn’t have a ‘real beach’ because you can just rent a car and go to other beaches or we actually took a taxi the one day and went to Avila. Very safe area.

Such a pleasant stay. Everyone was very attentive and nice. Rooms were clean and well kept. Any issues we had they helped us immediately. My friend and i have gluten allergies and they would make breakfast, lunch, dinner separately for us in the kitchen . All of the facilities were great and the location is great. Renaissance Wind Creek Curaçao Resort – 5-Star Caribbean Escape I recently stayed at the Renaissance Wind Creek Curaçao Resort, and it exceeded all expectations. Nestled right on the ocean’s edge and steps from the heart of Willemstad, the location is ideal—walking distance to the iconic Queen Emma Bridge, colorful Dutch colonial architecture, and plenty of shops and restaurants. Rooms & Comfort: The rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable. I especially appreciated the plush bedding, spacious layout, and the ocean view from my balcony. Everything felt updated and thoughtfully designed. Infinity Beach Club: One of the biggest highlights is the man-made saltwater infinity beach. It’s a unique feature and perfect for relaxing with a cocktail while gazing at the ocean. The service there was exceptional—towels, drinks, and snacks delivered with a smile. Dining: The on-site restaurants offered a solid range of options. The breakfast buffet was generous with tropical fruits, local dishes, and made-to-order eggs. For dinner, I highly recommend Blue for its seafood and oceanfront ambiance. Service: The staff made the stay even more enjoyable. Everyone—from the front desk to housekeeping—was warm, helpful, and eager to ensure guests were comfortable. Their hospitality felt genuine. I stayed at the Mangrove in February and it felt like a resort and the service was exemplary! Food, beach, resort and customer service was top notch and cost less. The front desk was not accommodating at the renaissance and the staff except a very kind bellman was kind. when I asked for a refund for a day I couldn’t make it down to the resort for a flight that was cancelled to Cuaracao by AA, the hotel staff would not accommodate my request. The rooms were average at best and housekeeping was lax. I had to request to have by room cleaned each night. I give this hotel a 3 out of a 10. It doesn’t have the Marriott charm.
